Going for the gold, one more time

Since I never updated after 13 weeks into my last pregnancy, perhaps I should. Zephyr Jackson, my amazing SON (seriously, you guys, I have a son!) was born on 12/1/15 after a little over 90 hours of labor. Did you know you could be in labor for 90 hours? Apparently you totally can! Zephyr was stuck with his little hand up near his face and had to be vacuumed out of my body, but he was and is totally healthy and just celebrated his first birthday. Which brings us to me. I finally got my period back at 11 months post partum, which to me seems like a sign that we should be trying for a final member of our family. And so we shall. However this seems like an even more daunting task than last time as 1. I will be turning 35 in a few days 2. My cycles are now 40 days long for some reason and 3. I'm not using meds currently. My opks are still showing positives though, so I'm going to the ob on Wednesday to discuss if we can go on any medications while breastfeeding, and if we can do some testing to make sure I am in fact ovulating. I am so ready to have another little one but not ready to stay this whole infertility journey again. Here is hoping this time it doesn't take 3 years.
