Implantation spotting ???

Is it too late to get spotting on 11/12dpo
I noticed Monday 11dpo I had one speck of pink/clear cm, Tuessday I thought a was starting early as I had brown and clear cm with pink tinged with the clear cm.
Now today nothing, My period is due Friday hoping to test tomorrow if af doesn't show what do you think implantation or not.
Any one experienced this before and been pregnant.
My husband and I would enter year 4 next year of ttc and a Christmas suprise would be lovely for him as he so much wants a baby.

It's not too early - implantation happens most commonly around 9-12dpo, and also keep in mind you wouldn't notice the bleeding immediately, it would take a bit to travel down and exit your body.
