How long does the cervix stay open during ovulation?
I had a positive opk yesterday and since the 16th my cervix was high and very soft plus relatively open. When I checked my cervix when I got up today it was so high I could barely touch it. When I checked again late in the afternoon it was back in it's regular location and not as soft. So I'm just not sure what happened. Oh, and I did another opk this morning which was negative.

Sounds like it moved because O was coming to an end. The cervix is a funny, unreliable thing that moves and changes from one hour to the next. Track it, but don't be surprised if it does strange things.
I am sure everyone is different, but my cervix will be high, soft and open for anywhere from 2 to 5 days around O, mostly before and during O. Good luck!
