Sperm meets egg

I am wondering where does the sperm wait for the egg at ...the vagina, cervix, uterus or tubes! I'm so confused...

They usually hang out in tubes swimming in the fertile CM. I recently read that in good quality, abundant CM they can live for up to 5 days but in poor quality only about 2 hrs!! I am going to try the robitussin since I noticed my CM was a little dry this month.
