Morning all!!

had a great time in Bali, just hated coming home! especially as I left Dh there! only for a few extra days though so he could get some more surfing in.

So much happened since I've been away! great to see everyone posting, even if it's not good news cos if you keep it in, it will drive you even crazier that we all already are!!

AFM - I tried to keep up with temps and OPKs but not always successful! I do acupuncture to help with ovulation stimulation and because we were going away I had it a few days earlier than I would normally (CD8 instead of CD11 or 12 as I usually O on CD13) but I had a temp dip the day before and since then my temps have increased every day until this morning (CD15) when it dipped. Could be implantation dip but seeing as I was in a warmer climate, I'm not depending on my temps this month to be very accurate! I guess tomorrow will show a bit more if temp goes back up at all? But not sure at all when I o'd!! But seeing as we were BD every day (sometimes twice!!) I guess it doesn't matter. I did notice EWCM this time which is a positive sign too. AF due 24th Oct so have a way to go until I *should* test!! But really not expecting much. Appointment with specialist on the 7th Nov so not expecting anything until after that to see if there is anything wrong. I started doing the whole self diagnosis thing but symptoms are so general and can point to several problems!! PCOS, Endometrioses etc. so I'm best off waiting until someone knows what they are talking about has a look. Not looking forward to being poked and prodded but I guess if all goes well, I will be poked and prodded even more!!

Welcome back lady!! Sounds like you had an amazing time!!! Once your on Vaca, you never want to come back!!! Aside from the temping issues if your BDing everyday, Im sure your chances for catching the eggie are much better. The over all temps may be higher because of where you were but the pattern should be the same. Keep an eye out to see if they rise! Good luck to you and we are glad your back!

Jess - thanks for the kind words!! Yeah Its not fun dealing with a sicky but he has been feeling a little better last night, he actually ate a solid meal..not all of it but its a step in the right direction.

Bug - Cant wait to hear what the outcome is when you come back from visiting family! Hope you have fun and all is well with you <3

AFM - Temp drop this morning...went from 98.12 two days ago to 97.54 this morning. Not happy about that...I wanna believe its because I spoke to the hubby this morning about getting up before I temped... but i will be checking my cervix later to see where it stands...I wish I were at home in bed...Im beyond exhausted...I was at work till 815 last night. and I had been up since 2 am because of the hubby being sick....Im glad tomorrow is a half work day for me and I get the weekend off so lots of relaxing.

So I was also reading up on LP and apparently it doesnt change...so if you LP is 14 days...and you O late...AF wont come one the usual day you expect it but will be pushed back so technically then...if my LP is 14 days then I shouldnt be getting AF till tomorrow or saturday...which means all this time I have been testing too early. But with my temps dropping...Its not looking good. God... I was really hopeful this month. Had a really good feeling we timed it just right... guess not... Another month come and gone

I did have a question for you ladies...I normally ovulate on the 20th (which is in a few days), do you guys think my hubby and I should start trying? Will it help the chances? Let me know! Thanks!

If you click on your ticker it will take you to the page..you have to create a new ticker according to the cycle your on now... and re-post it on your signature which can be found under manage my account section.

When you say 20th do you mean CD20 or the 20th of the month??

They say from CD 10 or 12 start BDing every other day and then the 3 days before you O, start bding everyday until you O...then you can go back to every other day
or you can just BD every other day so that one of the days you do falls on the day you O...you can always be safe that way...

I "O" on the 20th of this month. So I guess I should get started every other day lol, it won't hurt! I was also wondering if I should get pressed, I heard it helps. Any thoughts? Thanks!

hey bradsummer. just start getting down to business now! why do you need an excuse . its funny, i read that it should be every other day so the sperm can regenerate, then some say every day to flush the sperm through and my acupuncturist says twice a day! we took her advice !

so just go with the flow!

we use preseed cos at the very least it helps with lubrication which i can lack sometimes (the mind is willing but not always the body!!) but if it also helps to get his boys on the fast track to the tubes then all the better

mooka1985 - it could be implantation bleeding but i always err on the side of caution and try not to get my hopes up. you might not be out until shows her face but you are also not in until you get that so just keep an eye (or finger in some cases!) on your symptoms and hope to see your post soon with a BFP!!!!!!

greekmum - sounds like your temps cant be relied upon if you arent getting much rest so i wouldnt worry too much about the dropping just yet. the stress of a sick family member can also throw your body out so just try and remain positive which i know is hard when everything is pointing in the wrong direction!

AFM - massive temp spike this morning after a massive dip yesterday but if I did O on the CD12 or 13, that would be only 3 or 4 days later which is far too early for implanation i think. i have a headache and feel queasy but think that means i am coming down with something rather than pg symptoms. maybe I'm just cynical after almost a year of trying but i refuse to get my hopes up as it takes too much energy when my hopes are dashed. i am resigned to the fact that something is not quite right and that the FS will help work that out.

mooka1985_ did you took EPO for this cycle? it happened to me last month for the first time...it was was my first time for EPO too...hopefully its a sign implantation.. ,
