About this symptom
Dry Cervical Fluid
Cervical fluid changes consistency and colour throughout the menstrual cycle, from dry and scant to sticky and tacky to creamy and watery. Many women observe very little cervical fluid following ovulation until menstruation occurs, and this may also occur following conception. As the mucous plug is forming in early pregnancy many women notice that they have less discharge, while others notice more. Tracking your cervical fluid from cycle to cycle will allow you see differences that may help determine pregnancy.
