About this symptom
Yellow Cervical Fluid
Many women notice an increase in cervical fluid in early pregnancy. The consistency of the fluid may differ from creamy to more watery, and may be white or pale yellow which is all very normal. However a darker yellow colour and thicker consistency may indicate the possibility of a yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia or other sexually transmitted disease, especially if it is accompanied by a strong and foul odour. Always check with your healthcare provider if you are having discharge that concerns you, as many of these conditions can affect your pregnancy.
