Sorry I have been so busy- I'm an elementary school teacher and grades were do!

Had my second IUI yesterday- but I was told my husbands specimen was "pretty bad" meaning that a normal male has 200-300 sperm when they look at a "field" of the sample- my husband and had THREE!!!! They said all his other samples were not this bad (the last one he had 200 in the field?), so it's off to the urologist again! So frustrating since we've been there already and they said HE WAS FINE!!! Sorry, I found out all this AFTER the IUI- so I balled the whole way home... my poor husband, he felt so bad :( But we had sushi for lunch and it cheered me up a little bit :)

But we only need ONE to get pregnant so here's hoping! I triggered on Sunday morning early (like 5 a.m.) and had the IUI yesterday (Monday) at 11:30- so fingers crossed- now I start taking the progesterone- so we will see!

It took me an hour to read all the posts that I missed.. there is some exciting stuff going on!

Adamswife, yes you need one swimmer, you are not out! In the meanwhile and just in case ask your doctor if he can take vitamins. They helped us, which in our case we were suggested vit e and Lcarnitine.

AFM, Cramping is getting worst, dpo 8. I guess is the progesterone rise?

@kethreyes and Basia - hopefully cramping is implantation. I have a little bit of cramping right now - not bad, but it's hard to not think about it. I don't want to get my hopes up. UGH. Still had a faint trigger positive line today - hoping it will be out tomorrow so if I were to get a BFP I would know it's real!

AdamsWife - sorry about your husband's count. It could be just a fluke -- weird stuff can affect their counts, fevers, infections, etc. -- up to 3 MONTHS before. My husband, who generally is a rock star, had an off count one IVF (it didn't matter, since we were doing ICSI), traced it back to an infected bug bite he had 3 months prior. So there was no lingering problem, it was just a one off. Hopefully that's the same for you ... or even better, that it doesn't matter and one of the sperm he did have wins the race!

kethryes, Basia30, and WhileImWaiting -- I'm crossing everything for you guys!

Sorry if I missed anyone on the waiting side of the stick, missed so many pages while I was away!

The miscarriage still hasn't started and emotionally this has taken an incredible toll on me. So my RE has prescribed me cytotec. Has anyone had any experience with this? The nurse scared me. And also I wanted to start it tonight but after talking to her she said I should be off work and I can't get a day off this week.

@TTC- with my first pregnancy, our baby was measuring around 8 weeks two days at our like ten week three day ultrasound. I hadn't miscarried on my own. I had a D&C done at about 11 weeks. I don't know how long it would have taken my body to figure out te baby was no longer alive, but I know it can take weeks for some people. So, you are not alone in that. The good thing is that you are being monitored, right? Are you hesitant about taking the meds?

Texas - follistim I easy to inject :) and it does not hurt. Needled are super thin. But 250 is a high dosage... How many follicles are you trying to get? You doing IUI right?
