I got this result 2 minutes after doing the test .. I saw it appearing as the urine ran through. I am almost 100% positive I ovulated on the 20th (cp was s.h.o.w & the day after it closed up and dried a bit) so I'm about 7-8 dpo .. could this mean the test is picking up hcg & lh

Thanks Espence! ... I definitely don't think someone should take a positive lh as a for sure sign of pregnancy .. but I think I'm getting hopeful since I'm about 7-8 dpo with cramping and intensifying nausea , I'll be testing on Sunday with an hpt! Fx!

It's always a toss up with opk and hcg it seems. I had a positive opk at 8dpo and 2 days later had a positive hpt. But some people have a surge before AF as well. Soooooo it's not a fool proof way to test. But fingers crossed it turns out to be a good sign for you!

You may not have ovulated or be ovulating again ..its unlikely an lh test would pick up hcg before an actual pregnancy test at this stage
