Yes, it’s normal but don’t rule it out. I didn’t start trying a hpt test until I noticed the test line was getting darker and darker close to my expected AF day.

Ok so it's normal. I was wondering why it was happening. I've had opk like this for 4 days but no sign of af yet x

It’s normal to have a second surge before AF. However, the test line should be darker than the control line giving a strong positive towards the end of your cycle to consider a positive hpt. That’s what happened to me.

wss. Some women get an LH surge right before their period. I do. I stop testing with opks after ovulation has been confirmed.

Opk can turn dark or positive before af arrives.
