I had a full blown heavy period last week.
Tested as heartbeat very fast and backache.
I have heard that peri and menopause can cause false positives.
Will test in the morning see if I get a different result.

Oh my goodness, thank you for the clarification, I hope this is the start of something then. We have been trying for 6 years now.

I work for a hormone testing lab, typically peri menopause and menopause can cause false positives on LH testing but not hcg testing. Good luck!
