I've just come back from my scan appointment, my ovaries are cyst free!! I have been giving the all clear to press on with Clomid again, will start taking them tonight. If this round doesn't work then its onto IVF.

Have you read the book 'It starts with an egg'? Its great for info on which vitamins are best. However when I priced up the monthly cost it was just too much! x

Jayneybaby, That's awesome news! Have you been on clomid before, have they not recommended Letrozole? What vitamins are you taking? Some vitamins make IVF more successful?

I've not read that book no, from what I've just found out a good multivitamin is perfect. I'm definitely preparing to vlog tonight, I have moved me green screen, I have a list of things I need to talk about too. Everything crossed for you this cycle love, where abouts in your cycle are you?

I'm getting sick just as my fertile window begins. UGH! I really hope this passes quickly and doesn't ruin our chances. No covid, or anything like that. Just chronic issues I have, but if it messes with TTC this month, I'll be devastated.

Jayneybaby, yay to cyst free and clomid! I've been meaning to read the book It Starts with the Egg.

I finally got my peak today! I suspected as much since my test were almost positive yesterday and my temp dropped slightly. I'm hoping I will be able to resist the urge to test until 11 dpo, which will be oct 18. But I'm happy if I resist longer than 8 dpo. I only have one test though, so I'll have to order some.

MissPug don't forget to send my your channel and I'll subscribe.
Yes I had clomid when TTC my first and it worked first cycle. Now TTC #2 and had it last cycle but ovulation wasn't detected which is why they are recommending a trigger this month. To be honest they have told my that my chances on clomid this time are slim and I should go straight to IVF but its so expensive I wanted to try clomid just in case.
In terms of vitamins I take proceive which is just a multivitamin full of all the usual good stuff, I also take maca powder and asprin.

pcoswarriormommyegas sorry to hear you are getting sick, hope that you are felling better soon - sending over good healthy vibes for you!

Pandorica yey for hitting your peak! Get babydancing, got my fingers crossed for you. I am the same, always start testing from 8dpo, just can't help myself!

Have you all who's taking aspirin have been prescribed it by doctors or is there any specific reason your taking it? I've read in TTC boards than many women ttc are taking it, but why I'm not sure. Would like to know why is it good or why is it used.

Hi Naske, No I have been prescribed it I just take it following a recommendation from others going through the TTC journey. It is a blood thinner so the theory it is it increases blood flow to the pelvic area providing more oxygen and nutrients. Its also meant to reduce the risk of early miscarriage. But you must only take a small dose (75mg) as it can irritate your stomach and cause ulcers in large doses over a prolonged period of time x

Jayneybaby, thank you! I'm hoping to feel better soon. Thankfully OPK are staying negative, so hopeful we have plenty of time.

Nasake, same as Jayneybaby. My midwife said it could prevent miscarriage and preeclampsia, which I've had both, but I take a very low dose.

pcoswarriormommyegas, Oh no! I’m sorry you’re sick. I’m also just beginning my fertile window so we have maybe similar cycles. Hopefully you’ll be better soon.

Pandorica, yay for a peak! :) I hope to be not too far behind you! Are you an early tester too? It’s my worst habit and that reminds me, to buy more pregnancy tests as I also only have one left!

Jayneybaby, I will do! I’ve actually just vlogged (eventually, give the girl a medal!). I know they’re recommended climid, but have you looked into letrozole? It works similar to climid but a lot more women have success using it. IVF is expensive and if it came down to it, we will not be having a baby. We cannot afford that.

Nasake, I am starting aspirin but that is because I feel like we have nothing to lose. A fertility specialist told me in 2015 that it can hinder implantation but we’re at a loss at the moment and will try anything. Aspirin improves blood flow which is supposed to help with TTC.

As for me, eventually done the vlog, now just have to edit and upload. I am Day 2 of 'High' using my clearblue advanced fertility monitor. I hope to maybe get a peak tomorrow and start AI. We had a test last night and we cannot find my cervix. It's high which doesn't help but also, it's retroverted, so this will be no easy task. We will try me in a few other positions to try and locate. As for things that has arrived, my CBAFM sticks arrived yesterday (I only had one left for today!), 100% natural coconut oil arrived yesterday too, the syringes and tubing arrived today.
