I go in for an ultrasound to see if I have PCOS

I go Wednesday to see if my suspicious are right. I think I have a mild case of PCOS. I usually have a monthly period but most of the time it's not on time. I have a little bit of unwanted hair in places I believe aren't normal. I've had 2 children naturally but I've recently lost 2( 1 ectopic 1 mc within 8 months). I'm 31 and my symptoms are getting worse. I suspect I'm not even ovulating now. I've tried opks and I get several positives days in a row. For those diagnosed what did the Dr prescribe or recommend? I may ask for metformin. I'm use to the low carb lifestyle so I'll do that and exercise. I just think I need the metformin to help jump start ovulation bc I do want one more baby. Thanks for reading and any advice is appreciated :)
