Don't know what's going on. I'm pretty sure I ovulated on cd10. I'm on 18dpo with no AF, high temps, and loads of symptoms but one problem....still getting bfns!!
sigh... I dont feel good. My jaw/teeth are bothering me, my lower back hurts, diarrhea again, exhausted, headache, irritable and so on. Can't believe it's only 4:30 and I'm stuck at this shop until real late while DH works. I just want to go home and SLEEP!

Hi ladies.
Congrats on all of your BFP! !!
I've missed you guys. Im sorry for being. Mia. But we were going through alot. I had a couple of chemical pregnancies and that took s lot out of me. But I'm back!
Praying4Alil1: how have you been? I haven't read all of you guys posts but I plan to. Thanks for thinking about me. I really appreciate it.
Afm: I didn't realize how much was really evolved with the iui process. There is so many test you have to take and waiting on the results for one bbt before you can move on to the next is like pulling teeth. Anyway. .... I am on cycle day 21 (9dpo) and if no bfp we will start our first round of iui with injections. I. t is so exspencive. The follistim 300iu is $268 a box and I need 5 boxes per cycle. The Ovidrel is $168 and the Clomid is $50. So this upcoming cycle is approx $1500. Give or take. And we still have to pay back the sperm washing and iui.
So pray for us ladies and I will keep you guys updated on our journey.

Hi All!
@bettyboop, I'm so glad everything is going well with your pregnancy. Keep us posted. I always check to see if there are any updates.
@zuberi, I'm sooooo happy to hear from you. I'm glad you're still TTC. I know trying to conceive when we're older is no easy feat but it's totally worthy. Keep in mind I was 43 when I conceived so it's possible!
I hope everyone else is doing well.
AFM, my little girl, Olivia Devereaux, arrived on October 18th at 2:12 am. She was 3 days overdue but so worth the wait. She's totally precious, perfect and the biggest miracle I've ever experienced so ladies don't lose hope you will get the desires of your heart. God is amazing. I will share a picture as soon as I can figure out how.
Please keep me posted - I'm cheering from the sidelines. xoxoxoxo

Hi all I'm new to this thread but been ttc for 1 yr, I'm 41+9 DH 40 so would like to share my story/ journey! Time is not on our side we've been told. I' used the mirena coil for over 12 years back to back with no menstruation ever - I was told when you remove a coil you can get pregnant immediately, however my research suggests otherwise as over 4,000 women are suing the manufacturer as women are suffering multiple miscarriages after removal despite some being in their 20's and had a previous child so mirena is suspected to cause a problem with the body being able to produce progesterone naturally once it's removed. This is obviously a cause for concern to me as I have Suffered 2 early miscarriages both at 6 weeks 3 mths apart july and October so I can clearly get pregnant but can't hold a pregnancy. Anyone else heard of this?
Fortunately in uk we have an nhs referral unit for women who have either suffered 3 miscarriages back 2 back or 2 if they over 40 - so we waiting to get an appointment. The downside is the waiting list is 6-12 weeks ( we are week 4) AND then we've been warned that I will need 2 blood tests 6 weeks apart so once we get a date to go to clinic it's basically another 6 weeks before we get any results. They look for blood coagulants, thyroid issues, rhesus - ( which they already know I'm not) and anti- rejection cells - in case my body sees the pregnancy as a foreign body, and hormone levels - the latter is what I think i have as even now after a year my period is pathetic - 1-2 day bleed ending in brown spotting it's nothing, compared to the 5-7 day periods I had in my late 20's in fact it's the reason the doc put me on mirena to stop my horrendous heavy bleeding.
I now have pcos too - and had to have laser treatment for acne and facial hair, but apparently women can't claim for the coil causing that - only if the coil migrates or penetrates other organs! Omg really? If I'd have known I would never had used it.
So I'm busy researching all the natural things I can do to improve my ever declining egg reserve ( I've got great reserve) I paid £550 recently for me and DH to be checked at a private centre in London. DH has low motility and 99% abnormal sperm so he's cut out caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes since August and the hope is if we retest him in jan - his sperm should be improved ( fingers crossed). We are both taking proxeed sachets - they were £195 and on offer buy 2 get 1 free from proxeed themselves at a fertility show so I'm hoping the omega 3, extra bit c & e and these all help!
I drew great comfort in all your amazing stories of determination and I feel for each and every one of you as there's been days / weeks when I've cried and cried that I'll never give my amazing hubby the gift of a child, and I fear I've left it too late but I'm absorbing all your positive vibes and I'm so happy for the ones who proved it can be done and at 43 to give me the strength to continue this journey. Even if it means ivf - we will find the money to at least try a cycle. Ivf with Icsi was recommended as our only hope when we ran those fertility tests - but as I've proved already, we can get pregnant when they said we couldn't due to hubby's sperm but maybe what They really meant was that any pregnancy I have that's unassisted may be genetically abnormal as my hubby's sperm is so abnormal ( the sperm had 2 heads, coiled tails, pinheads and bent tails) so basically swam around in circles and were considered defective. He had mumps as a child btw!
Big hugs to all and wishing you a restful weekend.
Ive decided to have a glass of wine tonight with dinner as I'm sick of being tea total when I've seen no benefit of it anyway to date.

@thumbwalker, welcome to this forum. Although it is a bit quiet these days - the ladies here are amazing and very supportive.
I'm sorry I couldn't read your story earlier. As I'm sure, you've read I have a month-old at home who is very demanding. In any event, here's what I'm going to suggest, for your hubby he MUST take a zinc supplement & ubiquinol (100 mg X 2 a day). This was recommended by our fertility specialist when we were getting ready to try IVF. As far as you, have you heard of Vitex? It's a natural supplement that increases progesterone. I was taking 900 mg in the morning and 400 mg in the afternoon.
Finally, although it seems as though you've done your research, I suggest going to this website: http://natural-fertility-info.com/preparing-for-conception-over-40.html
That website became my bible when trying to conceive and I'm pretty sure it was thanks to their information that we were able to conceive naturally and didn't have to try IVF. I wish you the best of luck. Keep us posted!

Hi
Thanks for the info prayin4alil1! Congrats to you. I've got the date to see specialist on 22 nd dec so me and DH will attend together but they said we can't be pregnant and I think I am again! I've been on the proxeed, omega 3 and additional b6 for 3 weeks now so fingers crossed we get a sticky bean this time. We will still attend even if pregnant as I'd like my progesterone testing. I'm also taking 1 aspirin per day as I heard sticky blood can be a cause of recurrent m/c so thought worth a try!
Yes it's a bit quiet on here now. Good news most went on to have babies though. I may start another thread to get more involved.
Thanks for the info once again - it's much appreciated. :)
