I'm on CD 14. I usually ovulate between CD 14 and CD 16. I started OPKs on CD 8 this month just to make sure I didn't miss it. I did one OPK in the afternoon until yesterday, then I do an OPK every 12 hours to make sure I don't miss it. lol!

@Jennavee: Thanks!!! Guess I am just going to stick with my once a day test till maybe 2 days before estimated "O" day and then start with 12 hours.... Maybe I can catch it that way :) Thanks!

If you aren't fairly certain when you ovulate I would definitely recommend it!

Ladies, I just did a wondfo OPK. I've been awake for 4 hours, so it's definitely NOT fmu....it's much darker than I was even expecting....can you please check it out and let me know what you think!

@Jennavee: Yea, definitely not certain when "O" day is. Last month I am pretty sure it was Aug. 23rd. But I am charting temps and taking opks this month to try and really pinpoint it. Lol

And I looked @ your pic. I am no expert, but if it isn't positive, it's REALLY close!! :)

@jennavee, I count those as positive. It's positive, but not at "peak" yet. Compare with my pics, they look like yours. They get noticibly darker then BAM really dark usually within the next 12-24 hrs. That's when peak is and it is always O day for me

@Jennavee, I'm also not a wondfo expert, but that looks positive to me! Exciting!!

Btw, I've read that FMU isn't the best for your LH surge, anyway. A test is more likely to be -ve first thing in the morning vs. a couple hours in. (But I also think I might have read the opposite somewhere... is that helpful? )

AFM, my temps shot up even more this morning. Only cd10 so I don't really have any idea what's going on, and I'm scared this will be an annovulatory cycle. I used FF to overlay the beginning of this month's chart with the end of last month's chart, and it looks like the two temps will just meet in the middle Le sigh...

I called my hubby yesterday when I made this discovery, because I needed a shoulder to cry on. Sometimes i feel really frustrated because he just doesn't get how scary and uncertain this process is for me. It's nice that he wants to be really positive and list all of the reasons why my temps could be inaccurate, etc., but sometimes it stresses me out that he won't even consider that something might be wrong with me. Is that weird? We had another fight in the car this morning about the same thing. I wish men understood the exact right things to say at the exact right time

Hey guys! So, I got a positive OPK on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, and had EWCM. We BD on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Usually we go for several more days. Do I think we covered the bases?

@Wifey: Not so sure about the temps... I am actually a first timer at temps this month, so probably not much help, but I completely understand about the men thing!! :)

@WhileImWaiting: I think you got all the bases covered!! :) Good luck and :)

anyone have issues with OPKs when they drink a ton of water everyday? I drink at least 40ounces a day. and although I try to stop for at least 2 hours before I POAS, the lines don't seem to be getting darker. I'm on CD 18, and based on past cycles estimates are I o today. I may have gotten a +OPK yesterday, but when I read it it was dark and we had no power and I'm not 100% sure. I looked today and it looks positive but it's well after the time to read it. today's was negative. day before yesterday was negative. so not sure. temps keep going down, so hopefully tomorrow I will see the spike up to let me know I o'd.

wifey - I know my DH has a hard time when I get upset so it causes him to get upset and then its just all downhill from there. For the longest time he said it wasn't my fault it was him probably even though we didnt have any evidence. (now we know its both our bodies being stupid). I think sometimes, if not most of the time, guys just have a difficult time in this process too, especially trying to relate and support us when they don't get the feeling sometimes that your body just won't work properly, if that makes sense.

jennavee - almost positive, just a touch more dark. I bet by tomorrow or later tonight it may be a true positive.
