Hey ladies! Just checking in!

@Adamswife - I'm sorry, girl )-: Glad you are optimistic, and now you have one cycle under your belt!

@TTC - looking forward to hearing about your appointment tomorrow. Come on, baby!!!

AFM, this Friday is our follicle ultrasound. I'm REALLY hoping we only have TWO follicles. We had 6 on 50 mg of clomid CD 3-7. This month I am taking 25 mg of clomid on CD 5-9. I would LOVE one or two. If I have three, I may decide to proceed based on the size of the follicle. I don't think I could feel good about proceeding if we have three mature follicles.

What do you ladies think?

IF I ever have three I would.. Only reason I would is because our fertility problem is DHs sperm so the chances of him fertilizing all three are slim to none. Any more than 3 then I wouldn't..

I opted for Femara this cycle. 7mg CD3-7 and I have follicle check on Monday the 16th. It is our anniversary that day so hoping I have two very amazing follicles! :-) However I hear Femara you usually only get one very mature follicle so we shall see.

I would just because chances of having triplets are so low.

kethryes: Yep, that was it for me. Just a HPT and then call the hospital and get an appointment for a 7 week scan. After that I then just go on to seeing my local midwife clinic for the rest of my check ups, which is maybe 1 or 2 more. The local midwife clinic will see me April 7th, at 9 weeks and then one more time around 18 or 20 weeks I believe. Then, nothing until closer to my due date, if I’m deemed to be a regular pregnancy. How often do you see a midwife in the states? It’s interesting to hear about how differently they do the procedure in different countries!

tubalrevsalttc30's: Wow! I can’t even imagine! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you! Stay sticky little man!
They only transfer 1 embryo at a time here in Sweden, unless it’s your 3rd IVF cycle or your over the age of 40 I think. And it’s almost always, if not always in fact, a 2 day embryo transfer.

With both iuis i had three follicles, but as the doctor said they dont mature at the same time, we didnt think not to procceed. This time she doubled clomid so that i can have more matured follicles, i didnt understand what she means, but she told me that we increase the chances!

HI Everyone,

Yesterday I had my 5 day (one only) transfer and they told me that it was hatching as we did the transfer.
tomorrow I go in to check my progesterone and then Saturday and Monday are my day 10 and 12 blood tests for pregnancy.

DH came in for the transfer and it seems to have got him all excited and he now seems more interested in the whole process. He is very confident that it will be a BFP, I am trying not to get too caught up in his excitement and keep the next steps in mind if it doesn't work out.

Luck for us of the 11 fertilised 8 made it to blastocyst, so they had 7 to freeze, so won't have to go through the whole IVF process again hopefully and can just do FET's till a BFP. I honestly don't know if I would do IVF again, mainly because of the post retrieval recovery process, which I am still getting over. No OHSS, but the bloating has made my stomach muscles ache and cramp and with my ovaries also being sore, it is just making recovery long.

Basia: Any more updates on your E2 levels? I didn't have tests between day 1 and day 7 so I can't really help out. I know mine jumped up from 3860 one day to 10600 two days later (on the us scale, so divide by about 4 for the US scale).

Adamswife- thanks! We're hoping the U/S shows a healthy bean in the uterus. There was a concern with my betas. Good luck! Fingers crossed this is your month!

Mptyle- As PP said, beats are a blood test that measure HCG. I was having some due to my previous loss as well as I'm considered high risk. But they only did 3 and since my levels were going up they stopped doing them for me.

While-how you doing girl? I will let you guys know tomorrow! So glad it's finally tomorrow. Not looking forward to the 3 hour drive but at least the weather should be good! Also, regarding your question, if here were 3, I would totally go for it! Fingers crossed you have 2 nice mature follies though

Gemma- good luck!

Gemma - First of all congrats on the transfer and fingers crossed :) so exciting... My E2 level was at 580 yesterday. So it went up but not crazy. I also received Ganirelix shot yesterday that is suppose to control E2 hormone :) and I am taking it everyday - I think I have 6 (now 4 left) syringes of that staff. They also changed my meds for the triggering b/c they don't want to overstimulate my ovaries. I will be using Lupron (different Lupron then the one that some people use at the beginning of IVF cycle). My hormones can go super crazy so they are monitoring me and made that decision. I am going back tomorrow for yet another bloodwork and ultrasound. Oh they also told me that on CD4 they usually see E2 levels of 200 and mine was over 500 but the ultrasound was good and there was nothing concerning. I must say the Ganirelix shots sting... :\

TMI alert ! - So I notice a lot of cervical mucus - a lot - is this normal? I am just a bit concerned b/c a month ago I had yeast infection and I'm a bit paranoid that it came back.

Well I opted for 7.5mg Femara CD3-7. I go the 16th for follicle check. I will discuss everything then. IF Femara is working I think I might try it a couple months.. I know he said injectibles is a last resort before IVF so I will see how many IUIs he requires before allowing me to try them. DH said I should've stayed on Clomid cause the chances of having two follicles is higher than on Femara so we doubled our chances LOL. I dunno, I still have mixed emotions about switching but it's done so we shall see.

@TTc, eeekkk I can't wait.

@Basia, I'm not sure.. With all the hormone meds there is no telling what is normal. As far as the YI, I get them EVERY time my hormones get out of wack so I feel your pain.

@Gemma, Congrats on the embryos! Praying for a BFP for you.. Glad DH is more involved. After our IUI last month I noticed DH was more "in to" the whole process afterwards. IVF scares him though cause of everything I have to go through.
