Margie, we will transfer either 2 or 3. We transferred 2 last time and still ended up with BFN so possibly 3 this time. (I just crossed the age line where they will do 3)

Keith, yes I had a trigger shot on the 28th and will be testing that out. It should be out of my system by tomorrow or the following day. My beta is scheduled for Aug 14 (next Friday) but knowing me, I'll start testing at home this Sunday haha I will be 5 days past retrieval tomorrow for my transfer.

I have to keep this short and sweet...

AFM: Today was 8dpt3dt and I got another BFN... Also some brown spotting. The spotting makes me think AF is on the way but I thought I wouldn't start before I stopped the PIO shots and Etrace... Anyone have brown implantation bleeding? Slowing loosing hope :(

Jackie - I had what I assume was implantation spotting with my first and fourth pregnancies. I think around 11-12 DPO with my first and I'm not sure on this one - maybe 12ish....

Margie-ctp gave me crosshairs last week too on CD 7 and I know I didn't ovulate yet since I saw the follicle the next day. So I would go by your opk. Fx for you girl!

Sorry I have been MIA - I was super busy at work and this weekend was also crazy. I have been spotting for the past week and Dr decreased my dosage on Progesterone Cream (which helped). I think I was just irritated from the cream and the applicators.

Jackie - don't stress hun. That can easily be implantation bleeding and that is why you are getting BFN still. Just try to enjoy your vacation. Plus spotting is so common with IVFs.

So what did I missed?

Sorry ladies - I've been super swamped with work, and super sick--sometimes staring at a computer screen makes things worse too. I'll try and get caught up! For now...just a few things...

Jackie - Thank you for making the August board. I'm sorry you feel like you might be out, but what you're describing I had completely! I had twinges and cramps, I was SURE AF was coming. I also had brown spotting which I think now was implantation bleeding. It would also make sense as to why you haven't gotten a BFP yet. It would take a bit of time after it implants to show up on a HPT. Thoughts are with you this week!!

Baby~ how did your transfer go today?! :))) how many did you put back? Did u freeze any?

Kethryes~ how it works when you test after ivf is kind of complicated, esp if you haven't done it. It took me a while to get it haha!! So like me, I did a 3 day transfer, so on that day I was 3dpo. I tested 6 days after my 3 day transfer which put me at 9dpo. Does that makes sense? Trigger can show a false positive like with an IUI so I definitely didn't want to test too early.

AFM, I'm now 11 days past my 3 day transfer (14dpo) and my lines continue to get darker :)))) I go in for blood work tmrw and I can't wait! Lol! Does anyone who has done ivf know if they will do an ultrasound or not? I know sometimes the sac can be seen at 4 weeks but I wasn't sure if they will look or not?? My regular OB/GYN doesn't even do an ultrasound until 8 weeks but I know this process is different so I just wasn't sure. Thanks!!

Shan - congratulations. You will most likely have only blood work tomorrow and will have to re-do bloodwork in 2 or more days to see if the numbers are doubling. My clinic did my ultrasound at 6weeks4 days. IVF or no IVF they don't like to do it super early and not be able to see anything - unless you are bleeding and they think there is an issue. I think the earlier you go the bigger the chance that they will not be able to see anything (just bc it is too small) and then you would start to freak out and stress.

CateMat - I am doing good. I have no crazy symptoms. From time to time I get a day where I get super nauseous but I don't vomit. Honestly most of the days I don't feel anything which from time to time freaks me out. I am scheduled for another ultrasound on Monday - that will be 9 weeks exactly :) How are you?

Jackie- Don't feel like you're out just yet! Keep talking to those little babies and telling them to get comfy! I felt like AF was coming the whole week before my BFP, I told my husband I was sure AF was coming and he was sure I was preggo lol. I'll never agree that he was right.

3 days until our first ultrasound! Hubs and I are spending the weekend away this weekend too, it'll be nice to have a little time to process after we get our first ultrasound and before announcing to everyone!

When is everyone else planning to announce?
