November 2015 Babies!!

It's a little early to start this forum, but since I'm skipping October because of a CP I figured I'd go ahead and start this anyway.

So 2 Days Past D&c AND I JUST WANT Af To Come LOL

Hey all!

Nharty: I had low libido and thought it was such a bummer too. I started taking Maca for egg health and didn't expect it would impact my libido but it made a world of difference!!

Hanna: see above, I've been taking Maca for about 3 months and I'm really happy with it! It's not safe to take while pregnant though, just be warned, I didn't know that until recently. I've been on BC for the 2 last months, but the first month I got strong ovulation signs. So I'm a fan!

GL Mama2, Nikki, Kelly, TTClate and everyone else near their O day!!

AFM (Long update): Our results from the RE were pretty crappy to hear. He recommended going straight for IUI and Clomid because my ovulation is irregular and DH's spermies had only 18% normal morphology (better to be above 30%). The Doc said we would have a .07-1.2% chance of conceiving naturally. I cried my eyes out. DH was pissed and is convinced the RE is a weasel "selling us" drugs and IUI. Siiiiiigh. I think the news his sperm was part of the problem was a real slap in the face, poor guy. He calmed down...men express sadness in such funny ways.

Anywho, we thought hard about it and still want to try as natural as we can for as long as we can stand it (probably another 6mos-year). The assisted cycles will always be there, right? Plus, I have mild PCOS/low blood pressure/low vitamin D and the RE seems uninterested in sorting out my hormonal and blood issues BEFORE pregnancy. Doesn't sit right with us. So I just started pretty intensive acupuncture and chinese medicine with an amazing L.Ac and Naturopath husband and wife team, I'm stoked about that. I've got a second opinion consult lined up with an Eastern-med-friendly RE, too and an appt. with a regular Endo specialist for PCOS. Eastern+Western med FTW!! (hopefully) If any of you ladies think I'm wasting precious time and eggs, I'm honestly open to hearing the counterpoints, so fire away!

DH is open to diet and lifestyle changes to help morphology. Anyone had success with any morphology boosting vitamins? Morphology is an easier one to affect for the better, right? I need recommendations! Mahalo

Much love :)

Rerun,
I love all of your naturopathic ideas!!! I am envious. I have been taking prenatal vitamins with extra folic acid, vitamin D (for a multitude of reasons), and Ubiquinol vitamins for boosting egg growth and maturity. I have also modified my diet to eliminate red meats and limit my animal proteins and processed foods. I used to be vegan but during my pregnancy with DS my craving for chicken parmigiana was only tamed with real chicken! For the past couple months I have also been drinking raspberry leaf tea to boost uterine health (though there is raspberry extract in the prenatal vitamins). Overall I feel healthy and happy, The past 3 cycles I have ovulated (big deal for this girl!) and as much as I've hoped, DH and I have not conceived. February marks the beginning of our 14th month TTC. I promised myself one year of TTC before I talked to the doctors....and they prescribed Clomid. They have been recommending it to me for 3 yrs now, but I have been holding out because I just hate altering my body with medications. I have gone back and forth about this for a long time, I filled that prescription a few weeks back but then held off. Then AF arrived again and my heartbreak.... Well, it just doesn't get any easier. It sucks more each time. I took Clomid this cycle, days 5-9, and I ovulated CD15. Today is 3DPO.
Well, I didn't mean to tell my whole Clomid story but there it is!
Look up Ubiquinol and see if it's right to add to your regime. I have been quite happy with it despite not conceiving yet.
Xoxo

Welcome new ladies! Nharty-I also have low libido and the scheduled intercourse doesn't help! We've been scheduling it for so long it's become routine.

Just had my IUI and it wasn't bad at all! DH gave me 11 million sperm so hopefully one of those guys will find my egg! I start progesterone Wednesday and then test on 2/22 for pregnancy. I hope this is it!!

Good luck to everyone near testing and O!

Hoping for a November baby. I had my first pregnancy and mc last June 2014 with no BFP since. A polyp was discovered in my uterus in October. From everything I have been told by my doctor and reading forums like this, uterine polyps can prevent implantation. (Side note: I have also had terrible acne and very heavy periods since mc.) I finally got the polyp removed (actually 2 were removed as they found another) by laparoscopy / hysteroscopy yesterday (2/6/15) on CD 8. I usually ovulate on CD 12 or 13. My doctor thinks it is fine to start trying right away even though some things I read indicate that you should wait up to 4 weeks to TTC. Has anyone experienced this? If so, how long did you wait to TTC? Any BFP's naturally or otherwise? Hoping for some serious baby dust.

Thanks TSB for sharing your experience. I'll definitely bring those vitamins up with the naturopath. I'm glad you have a similar mindset and it's good to know that even if I got as healthy as I possibly could, I still might need assisted cycles (which I think describes you and many other members on CTP). I just feel like I owe it to myself to at least try the natural way and I know Clomid isn't the end of the world! The success rates are great so I'm really hopeful for you this cycle :)

Glad your iUI went well TTClate :) FXFU

Need your advice. I posted a pic I went and spent the money on the clear blue digital well came back with the circle. I posted a pic I decided I would check cm since I was so wet and it's deff egg white it stretched didn't break. Should I wait till tomorrow for bd or I don't confused it I am fertile. My hubby not feeling well we skipped last night so if I only have one more chance I don't want to blow it. I'm afraid I'll have the lh surge and I'll miss it. He works tomorrow late.

mama2twins - If you have ewcm and didn't get to BD last night and won't tomorrow, I would definitely BD tonight so you can cover your bases as well as possible.
