Update your email address

Keep your account email address current by updating it in your Account settings.

1. First, be sure you are logged in
2. Click Account settings in the user menu in the top right menu bar
3. Click the [change] link next to your email address
4. Enter your new email address in the box and click Save email change

Once you submit this change you will be logged out and your account will be deactivated until the new email address is verified.

You will receive an email at the new email address with a link to verify it. Once confirmed, your account will be reactivated.

NOTE: Updating your email address means you will need to log in using your new email address. This means you may need to update any saved usernames for the site on your devices.

Change who can send you private messages

1. First, be sure you are logged in
2. Click Account settings in the user menu in the top right menu bar
3. Select the Privacy tab
4. Members: any member who is logged in to their account can send you a message
   Friends only: only members on your friends list can send you a message
   Nobody: No one will be able to send you a message

Change who can send you friend requests

1. First, be sure you are logged in
2. Click Account settings in the user menu in the top right menu bar
3. Select the Privacy tab
4. Yes: any member who is logged in to their account can send you a friend request
   No: No one will be able to send you a friend request

Profile privacy

To change who can see information on your profile visit your Account settings > Privacy. (Location, trying to conceive since, number of children, about me)

Public: Any visitor to the site will be able to view the items listed above

Members: Only members who are logged in to the site will be able to view the items listed above

Friends only: Only members who are in your friends list (and logged in) will be able to view the items listed above

Nobody: Only you will be able to view the items listed above

Closing your account

1. First, be sure you are logged in
2. Click Account settings in the user menu in the top right menu bar
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Close my account link
4. Follow the instructions provided
