Change notification settings for a post you started
- Navigate to the post you would to change the settings for
- Click the button to toggle email notifications on or off
ON = notifications are currently on
OFF = notifications are currently off
Change notification settings for a post you have bookmarked
Option 1 - Remove the bookmark
- Navigate to the post you would to change the settings for
- Click the button to toggle email notifications on or off
ON = notifications are currently on
OFF = notifications are currently off
NOTE: Your Account settings > Notifications > Bookmarked posts must be set to Yes in order to receive an email notification when a reply is added.
Option 2 - Turn off notifications for all bookmarked posts
If you would like to keep posts bookmarked but not receive any email notifications when a new reply is posted you will need to adjust your Account settings.
- Navigate to your Account settings > Notifications
- Select "No" under Bookmarked posts
- Click "Save notification settings"
This setting applies to all bookmarked posts. You will no longer receive email notifications for new replies for any posts you have bookmarked.
Add a signature
To add your post signature:
- Visit your profile and click Edit profile
- Scroll down to the Posts signature text box
- Enter your desired text or image/ticker (see below)
- Click Save profile
To add an image or ticker to your signature use the [img] tag.
[img]http://www.example.com/image.jpg[/img]
Be sure that the image tag contains the full url to the image, photo or ticker image (including the http://).
HTML is not permitted.
Visit the tickers page to create a ticker and get your ticker code. Use the BBCode code snippet.
Mute a member
You may choose to mute a member if you no longer wish to view the content they post. This includes photos, comments, posts and replies.
- Open the menu next to member you would like to mute
- Select "Mute" option
- All content by the selected member will be muted starting with the next page you visit
- An "Unmute" option will appear in place of the member's content. Click "Unmute" at any time to stop hiding the member's content.
Delete a post
You may delete a post you started (as long as there are no replies). Once a post has replies you may not delete it.
- Navigate to the post you would to delete
- Open the menu under the post
- Select Delete post
- Confirm by clicking Yes, delete
If you would like a post with replies deleted, you must send a request to administration.
