About this symptom

Tingling Breasts

One of the earliest symptoms noticed by many women is a tingling sensation in the breasts and around the nipples. This can begin just a few days after conception. As the hormones of early pregnancy surge through the body and increase blood flow to the breasts, a tingling sensation or sometimes more painful sensations can be felt. As the body adjusts to the hormone levels these sensations generally subside.
