sooo....
they removed septum - they said that it was not big but something that later on could have caused miscarriage - according to Dr this is not the reason why I was not getting pregnant
they found small endometriosis - it was not bad so instead of cutting it out they burned it - endometriosis might have caused the issues with getting pregnant

the plan is... I will be starting process of IVF - some extra tests, seminars, meetings with Dr.
in the meantime I will do 3rd IUI - as soon as AF shows up

:D I am good to go and everything looks good

I've got nothing going on at the moment. I'm 7dpo, but in that time, I've had Flu A, and now have pneumonia and bronchitis (resulting from the flu), so we only managed to get jiggy on New Year's Eve. Not sure if that was even enough, although the timing was pretty good. But I've been on serious meds and in extreme lungular distress, so who knows. Supposedly, all of the meds are safe for pregnancy, so there's that, at least.

I have an appointment with my gyno in 2 weeks and am hopefully going to be able to convince him to help me out a bit more - right now, all he's giving me is luteal phase progesterone.

@Basia - how big was your septum? Did they say?

Welcome to the newbies!

AFM, my FSH came back as 6.9, so I think that's good, and both DH and my disease tests are fine. DH will do his sperm analysis on Monday.

The financial people are supposed to call me on the IUI cost.

It was not crazy big but big enough that they thought it might affect pregnancy later on - I am glad it is out :)

Sorry for my ignorance but what's a septum??

Question about those who have dealt with endometriosis. I had my procedure to check things out last December (2013) and doc lasered off some of it, too. He said it wasn't horrible but thought it was enough that my fallopian tube wasn't picking up the egg from my right ovary. I'm wondering how long it may take for endo to grow back. I understand that every person is different but curious if I should get checked out again. Would hate to learn 6 months from now something that I should have checked out now.

Ok ladies this is going to sound really weird, but did any one else have tooth pain with Clomid. I am on 250, day two and they are killing me.

red - basically if you look at the image of uterus it is shaped like a pear... septum basically makes it look more like a heart. Basically septum is a tissue that was splitting the upper part of the uterus in half. It is something that can be fixed with a hysteroscopy procedure.

This picture show exactly what it is :)

Texas - that is weird but Clomid is a powerful drug and 250 dosage is no joke :)

AFM - I attended free IVF seminar yesterday - it was awesome - they went over the whole process of IVF and possible drugs and then a psychologist talked about stress associated with IVFs and infertility
I will be doing IUI in January and then I will be getting slowly ready for IVF possibly in March :)

That's exactly what I had and got it fixed last December. No one ever called it a septum though. I had a balloon in my uterus for 2 weeks (I think). And, my RE kept telling me to not have "anything in the vagina" especially sex but he kept forgetting my husband was in Africa for 2 months!
