Thanks for the info, opalfoxy. I'm not christian, however. :)

Hope AF either comes or the hpts turn positive for you! Stinks to be in limbo!

Essemkay, I'm not a christian either but I do admire their site and I have read it throughly. It is up to the couples donating the embryos to set the boundaries on whom the adopt and how open they want to be. A few of the parents are only moderately christian which is great.

Being from NZ my options are very limited and Nightlight can go international. A lot of the other US sites are not open to me.

TXkadams, I'm going to go look at that site your mentioned :)

I think snowflake adoption is so interesting! I am interested in it and I believe it is cheaper than IVF, too. I will have to see if I can find another site I found about it. (-:

Hi everyone. I've been cleared by docs to start trying again. My acupuncturist said that it takes 90 days for my body to absorb and make changes to affect the mutation gene so we're going to wait a couple of months. Today is 4 weeks since D&C and still waiting for period. I feel silly asking this but would I ovulate before I start my period? (What comes first? Chicken or egg? Ha!) I don't want to get pregnant now and run the risk of having the same issues as last time. Essemkay? TXkadams?

Red I would becarefull, many ladies I know have got pregnant nearly straight away after a D&C. If not the first cycle then the second.

While, the site you put up seems to be even cheaper. Maybe I need to just have a holiday in Tenesse. I like the idea of embryo adoption too, I'd like two babies (might be a bit of a dream for me at 41 but If I was younger, even single I'd go for it)

33 days for me still no AF, its been about 3 days since I got a bfn. I'm thinking I will have to see a doctor soon. Blood test, why does your body play such tricks. I'm sure I ovulated, I have all that white creamy cm.

@red, you ovulate before your next cycle. Have you taken a test? Are your cycles usually 28 days?

Nevermind, ladies. AF showed today so now I don't have to worry about accidentally getting pregnant. It will be funny to actually try and prevent it for the next couple of months. Here's to CD1!!

Hello ladies :) How are you all doing?

So tomorrow I will be checking my temperature to see if it is pre-ovulation temp or post ovulation temp. If I did not ovulate yet then I will start using OPKs and hopefully we can still catch that egg this month (without IUI/IVF of course). It has been 8 days since surgery and I feel good. I am not 100% there yet but I am doing really good :)
