kethryes - Was your prolactin fasting? I had a high prolactin initially and then all subsequent (fasting) tests were normal.

Cate, sorry i didnt understand your question about fasting prolactine. I am not native english speaker, so i would like some explanation... I am sorry for that! I finally contacted the doctor and she said that prolactine could rise from stress, and about t4, it might mean nothing because it is the only thyroid test that is out of the normal range. I will have a more specialiaed test, the free t4 and free t3 in order to be sure. Actually she was somehow strict... As she told me that the only thing i have to do is the tests and i shouldnt concern about the results, as it is her concern and not mine!

kethryes - Sorry I wasn't very clear. Fasting refers to no eating or drinking before a blood test. Sometimes food and drink can affect the result. They had me not eat or drink from midnight the night before and my result was fine.

Not fasting was 40!
Fasting was 9. Ideally less than 10 for pregnancy, but less than 20 is usually ok.

My progesterone yesterday was 22, which is the lowest it has been for my three cycles of IUI. )-: Apparently it's good enough, but low for me recently. boo.

catemat, thanks for your help! I hadnt eaten anything since the previous day. I dont remember if I had just given to drink the glucose, because I had also the glucose intolerance test. I really dont remember if the first blood was taken before or after the glucose.

While, dont worry about the progesterone. What your doctor said?

While - my progesterone was a little low like that about 6 months ago. My acupuncturist recommended ProgonB-L 4X. Its a topical oil blend but I put 4 drops under my tongue starting about CD18 and stopped with AF arrived. My progesterone really increased. You can find it online or healthfood places.

Speaking of, blood test came back great and no need for extra supplements of progesterone. HCG was 514. I go back tomorrow to make sure it's doubling.

I still don't feel like this is happening. Last time I was choppin at the bit to tell everyone and now I'm having to remind myself that I'm even pregnant. I guess I'm being cautiously optimistic. Had sushi last night with girlfriends. Will be the last time for that for a while. :)

@red - So happy to hear everything is going well. Your numbers sound amazing! FX for doubling. Mine were SO low in the beginning but finally ended up rising. Now here i am at 11 weeks with a healthy pregnancy. Sick all the time :)

AFM - I'm taking my last Clomid pills tonight and I'm so glad because they don't taste very good and I have had one get stuck at the back of my throat for the past few nights.

Margie - have you tried eating a little bread after your pill? Yeah those clomid pills are chalky!

Thanks, Ladies. I was disappointed because my first IUI my progesterone was like >45 and the second was around 36. So 22 just seems to be much lower.

Waiting: we are so close with this cycle! I have an ultrasound and bloodwork tomorrow morning and will hopefully get my trigger for a Sat/Sun B2b IUI.
