Hey all....35 I am still here but don't have much going on, just af still. I've been reading all the posts and rooting for everyone.

For those that may not know about me...30, dh 34, TTC number 1 for me and number 4 for dh for 2 years and this is cycle 28. Dh has slightly low motility and he is a smoker so not good for sperm. I have a thyroid disorder and previously high prolactin which usually affects ovulation but I have always ovulated normally. Only been treating my thyroid and prolactin since Dec 2012. July was the first month both were normal. I've also been on these forums since last August and seen many women get their bfps and unfortunately a few still on the boards. I have until November before we start more testing and possible Clomid and iui.

I am no expert but can offer and help and advice about general TTC things and opks.

My edd is may 29 and that would be perfect as I could stay at home during the summer and watch my stepkids.

TTCwithMNK- you may not wanna make your man go THAT much longer lol... that may not be good for either of you.... gotta keep the good strong swimmers ready to go!!! :) GL and hope you get your BFP!

PBC - Glad you are still around... Ugh sorry AF is still hanging around... We have the same EDD (5/29) fingers crossed this is our month! or at the very least YOUR month!!!!! Ya know what? Ive heard soo many women complain about the side effects of Clomid and I'll tell ya, I didnt have any symptoms aside from being bloated and gassy TMI lol but honestly that was it... no moodiness, no hot flashes...etc, I was on 50mg, so maybe if I have to increase next month I may not be singing the same tune but I was honestly nervous after hearing people say they had the side effects! Why did your Dr want you to wait until November before even trying the Clomid? I mean why wouldnt they say here try a couple of months of Clomid and if nothing by November Clomid and IUI?

Any word on Cristi and Bama? Just wondering how they are doing??

While it has been still not long after may missed miscarriage it feels like an eternity. Before mmc we had tried since sept/12.
I am 37 and dh is 55. But hey, we did get pregnant before so I'm optimistic we will do it again...
I ovulated on cd10/11 August 17-18. Af due 9/3. So I am 9/10dpo. Now leaning towards 9dpo since the tester line was noticeably darker than control line.
Had more nausea the past three days and not nauseous as I have been... Was just a tiny bit earlier. And it could all be related to progesterone levels...
I had ovulation spotting for the first time this month, it never happened before in my life, and used preseed for the first time, all of that made me soooo hopeful...
I'm trying to stay optimistic and never lose hope. It keeps the world turning!!!

@35, thanks for looking out for me :) I know symptom spotting is horrible! It seems like I switch every other cycle. Last cycle, I was really good about it, so after that frustrating BFN I guess I'm a little over eager! AFY, I'm sure you will get to re-experience that "reality check" scared feeling soon :)

Thanks everyone! I'm going to wait until Friday or Saturday which would make me a day ot two late to do more testing. I just got antsy!

@35andready: I am not bad thanks hun. Just waiting on another appointment with fertility specialist being as all my tests have been done (bloods/ultrasound/hsg etc) and DF needs to hand in a SA when we are back from holiday in a few days. How are you doing?

AFM, I am on cd10 and af is just slowing to spotting now. I don't usually bleed/spot for longer than 7/8 days at most but im guessing that the hsg has made me bleed for longer. Hsg was performed on cd42 as an ultrasound the day before confirmed no pregnancy so DR was happy to go ahead rather than me cancel it and rebook :)
Been on holiday in Scotland this week up at DF's parents' place for his mums 50th. We leave early Thursday morning as I have a hospital appointment for my RA late afternoon. But been nice having DF show me around all the local attractions up here as never been to Scotland before :)

35- I will try about any medicine or drug even if it makes me crazy! I tend to tolerate medicines well, my system isn't too sensitive to change. Because my endo thinks the problem is my thyroid, he is confident that I will get pregnant since its functioning normally. My annual exam with my gyn is November so it made sense to wait until then and move forward with testing. My endo suggested Clomid would be the next step to boost ovulation since none of my other blood tests point to anything else. I will probably have a hsg done too to rule any tubal issues out. I hope his confidence pays off and yes I hope we both get may babies!

Beautiful-hope you had a nice trip! Yeah apparently those hsg's can mess with the cycle a little, understandably so.

Pbc: I took clomid when trying to conceive first dd back in 2005/2006. Took four rounds and when I have up I conceived the very next month. I am ALL for clomid but my doc never told me to take cough medicine or use preseed. So I think I was not successful because it dried me up. Before your appt if you don't mind my suggestion look up the info of women taking clomid n cough medication n talk it out w your obgyn.
It is only a certain kind that you need to take during certain key days too.

Afm: continuing to having a crappy day. U know when u are not feeling it. I am clearly emotional but not weepy. Zero tolerance. And I don't have any symptoms other than not being hungry, not liking my coffee. Zero cramping? And little nausea for few minutes in the morning...

I'm usually more patient than this... Completely going bonkers this month...
Oh well, I will happen for all of us! I will never lose hope!

Thank you for the suggestion! I use preseed so hopefully if I do take Clomid it will help. And last week, I felt like you do today. Crying in my office and then being snappy. Then a day later I was fine. Mine was af unfortunately but maybe yours isn't! And I love your optimism. Having hope it the thing that keeps me going.
