@Lacey it is actually good when you are OV that the ewcm is stretchy. It should be clear or whitish and stretch about 1-3 inches before it breaks. If it is not stretchy then you probably already OVd. The stretchy stuff is good for the swimmers, it provides motility and a good PH balance. FX for you!!

Alright ladies it's decided if this cycle doesn't take we are done TTC. Hubby "can't" have sex right now so he says and it's putting a huge strain on our marriage. So if this cycle doesn't take... Which I doubt it will, we are done! And I will be going back on BC cause AF is so awful for me!

I am so thankful for all you lovely ladies and all your support. You have made life easier these past few months. I will miss you all very much. I will still try to stalk from time to time.

Beatles, FX for you! It sounds like you havent released an egg just yet! Its coming though. Keep testing and when it goes negative start your dpo count. Doctors will adjust just tell them.

Shneek, without fertility drugs I don't ovulate regularly.. maybe 3 times a year! So I would go MONTHS and it drove me crazy!

Hey everyone. Hope you are all ok. Just a quick post until i can get on my laptop.
Have had my results through for my LH, FSH and prolactin which are all within normal range. Though prolactin slightly lower but nothing to worry about. So right now its looking like just ovulation being non existent. Fertility referral has now been sent and im hoping that appointment comes through soon :)

I tested using Clear Blue OPK yesterday and got a big fat circle (no), was hoping to be able to read it by the line but apparently the digital tests dont work the same as the dollar store cheapies. :( Last month I ovulated early (cycle day 10 or 11), and I think I was expecting the same. BUT my cycles are always nuts haha, so who knows. for ovulation soon!!! :)

Anyone testing within the next week or so?!! Come on I want to see thos BFPs!

maybe I am going about this the wrong way maybe we need to go to a specialist and try something else cause apparently hubby can jack off seeing as he left me another specimen last night, but he can't go with me....lovely.

beatles, I think acrichton could be right about the mulitple surges. It's also possible that the test from yesterday just wasn't done at the right time, or your body hadn't yet built up enough LH to show positive, or it was a bit too diluted. I wouldn't worry about it. There's a reason my doctor always says stop after the first positive OPK! I'd go with the first surge.

35, so sorry to hear about your fur baby :( I understand how much a pet can mean! Deepest condolences.

Lacey, I notice all kinds of goop come out shortly after BDing. I get stretchy, thick, clear mucus from it all the time, and I know it's from BDing because it's not around my fertile time at all. However, that doesn't mean that your EWCM wasn't your fertile mucus!

Stephanie we are going to miss you! I understand that TTC can be so hard on a marriage, so I hope that everything goes better for you.

I have had negative OPKs the last three days, and seeing if it's positive today. If not, I have an appointment tomorrow for a follicle scan and if they're ready, I'll use a trigger. I'm hoping I will O on my own this time! Then we'll schedule my third IUI :) It better work this time!

well I took the plunge and made an appt with a fertility specialist, after explaining all we have done and the issues dh is having they didn't even want a referal fom my obgyn ;) dh doesn't want me to give up yet. Our appt is Sept. 18th and I am on the cancellation list so maybe sooner. Until then we are just going to go about life as normal.... kinda the old fashioned way

Soooo I guess I'll be sticking around a lil longer
