I'm about 10 1/2 weeks now. I was laying on my back a few days ago, and I felt the weirdest flutter in my abdomen. felt it again a few days later. I'm not sure what it is, maybe internal muscle spasms or something. Its definitley weird and catches you off-guard.

The stabbing pain is called "round ligament" pain. It isn't the baby that you can feel, but is related. :) It is caused by your uterus stretching and growing. Kind of like an internal muscle strain.

It's normal, so nothing to worry about!

It wasn't a stabbing pain , it didn't hurt the slightest, it was like a light tap. I've hap heaps of round ligament pain.

Neekie, is this your first pregnancy? If yes, it's not likely that you've felt the baby yet. I'm 17 weeks and haven't felt it yet.

I know for subsequent pregnancies women usually feel movement a lot earlier as they know what it feels like.

Yeah this will be my second pregnancy. That's what made me notice the feeling more :)

Hi again, Neekie! I am right there with you!! Last night, with a full bladder, laying on my back...I SWEAR I felt baby flutter. This is my 3rd pregnancy (to go this far) so I am quite familiar with the feeling but didn't think it was possible to feel it this early!! Maybe we're NOT crazy!!

Ohhh, Neekie. I'm "ok". Im pretty much car sick all day long...in the car or out. I know I shouldn't complain, I haven't thrown up like you have. Sometimes I wish I would!!! Other than that, I'm more and more excited that we're getting closer to 12 weeks! Aren't you? I don't remember how old you are, Neekie but are you doing a NT scan....anybody?

I thought it was getting better but it's just getting worse!

I will be having the scan which is only a week and a half away! Are you having it done?
