October 2017

Since I didn't see this topic yet I figured I'd be the first to start it. This is for those of us still traveling our TTC journey in hopes of achieving our October 2017 miracles. I am at CD1 my name is Jalisa.. Some history on myself... I am 23 and DH 44, he just recently had a vasectomy reversal and everything came out great! This cycle #2 for us and we ttc #1 for me and #3 for him... I have previously had 2 miscarriages one at 18 and another at 21. The first I wasn't aware of but the second I was 4 months. I wish all of you ladies baby dust and sticky vibes!

@marieO I do not temp just BD as much as I can. I never find that checking CM works for me. I hope we all get BFP this month. Baby Dust.

Hello TT2MaMa, I'm new here also. I don't have any experience with fibroids, but at any rate I still wanted to wish you good luck! Are you doing anything special like temping or taking any supplements?

@BrownSugar93 I am going to start temping fully this month(not just randomly) in addition to using OPK's. I have a good idea of when I O each month but want to be sure. Also, I have started taking some additional supplements. Usually its just prenatal with folic acid but switching to FertilAid and CoQ10 and B12 and I started using Apple Cider Vinegar for other reasons but have read it can be very helpful. Also going to try and BD even more this month and I've got my man on some supplements.

Any advice on the temping or any other supplements or things that have seemed to work would be greatly appreciated

@secallender, I'm sorry to hear that you are on a new cycle again. I can relate to the frustration there. Personally I take apple cider vinegar every day just to keep regular. I like it! Otherwise I take evening primrose oil until ovulation to bring on the EWCM, and vitex after to help support progesterone.

My temping was loose and inconsistent at best, so I have not been doing it. I haven't used OPKs either, so no help there. Mostly just the extra vitamins and cutting back on soda, wine, etc.

Good luck to you, I hope this is your month!!

I'm CD1 and I get to start trying again! So excited!! I've started a November 2017 for those who need to move over there - I'm EDD Nov 2nd, so I'll hang out in both. But it's there...just search for November 2017 Babies and you'll find it.

I'm sorry for the AFs that got you - start a new cycle with me...I feel extra lucky this month!! Lots of BFPs!!

Welcome to all the new ladies on the board!

Curious, what does apple cider vinegar do for fertility? I know it's good for lots of stuff but didn't realize it had fertility benefits as well.

For anyone wondering about temping, I will just share my experience which is that I really enjoy it! If you get a thermometer with a memory, you can turn it off right when it takes a reading, go back to sleep, and then check and record your temperature later. This way you can set an early alarm and it will be the same each day regardless of any schedule changes throughout the month.
Since I started TTC in my 30s, I wanted to have a clear picture of if/when I ovulate so that in the event of any problems, I could show a doctor my chart and they would be less likely to blow me off. I've read so many stories about women wasting six months to a year because their doctor didn't take their concerns seriously. So that's one good reason to do it.

@marieO I agree tracking CM can be really accurate, although I found it a little less clear once we actually started TTC since during the fertile time there would be other bodily fluid also in the vicinity but we may have just done a little overkill with the BDing!

Hi everyone!
I'm 36 and DH is 43. This is our first cycle TTC after our wedding ?
I have 2 kiddos, 6 & 3. He has 3, 16, 14, 12.
He had a vasectomy reversal in September which gave him the best results after 8 years the urologist had ever seen.
I use the creighton method of charting. (Just CM observations). I have PCOS but I can't get in to my specialist until March. We are hoping for a baby conceived naturally but I needed metformin, progesterone and B6 for my second baby.

I ovulated on CD 26. I'm currently 11 DPO :)
Tons of symptoms but a bfn this morning.

Anyway, looking forward to journeying with you.

@calvingirl- So glad to see you back trying!! I know you've had a long road, so I really hope this is your month!!

I'm at 9 dpo, I have some early symptoms but I feel like I always do and then I end up disappointed, so trying not to get caught up in that.
A different round of bloodwork found that I have a mild case of hypothyroidism, so the doc started me on Synthroid this week. We got all our testing done except the HSG (we have to wait for the next cycle for that one since it has to happen between CD6 and 12).
Hopefully we find out we're pregnant this month and can skip the HSG. We meet with the RE on Valentine's Day. How romantic, right?

Good luck to all of you still waiting!!

Hey y'all! I'm Annie and I'm still hoping for that BFP too if anybody is still waiting it out with me :) I got a questionable positive yesterday at 9dpo so today I am 10dpo but got a negative with CB but it wasn't FMU... I keep hoping I'd get something obvious like implantation bleeding since I NEVER spot before AF so now I'm symptom spotting lol
