Basia, you just cant believe it and also you are still scared. Dont feel guilty. The beginning of pregnancy is full of worries. As about the test, i dont know it, but if it is only for the gender, dont do it. Just be patient! I feel that it is a boy!!! If you believe in grandmothers testing, do the test with the gold ring!!!! It is for free!!!!

AFM, got my blood work done today and they just called and said "your definitely pregnant, Congratulations" :))))) they wanted my levels to b b/w 50-100 and mine is 107 :) they wanted my progesterone to be greater than 15 and mines greater than 40 :) now the long dreaded wait to Friday to c if they double! I know they will!! I just want to hear it from the doc haha! :)

Congrats Shan :) Awesome progesterone :) Are you on any progesterone supplements?

TTC - Sorry that you had a rough IUI :( My first IUI hurt A LOT, my second no so much. I hope this is the last treatment you’ll need!! Hopefully she injected those little swimmers nice and high for you!

Welcome Jeska! I hope you find a lot of support here :) This group has meant so much to me going through this journey of trying to have a baby! My friend had her BFP with her first IUI last year and now has two beautiful boys! (twins) :)

Margie - I’m sorry to hear about DH’s car accident. I’m glad neither of you were involved directly, but so disappointing that someone would take off after hitting your car :( On the plus side, his little swimmers weren’t injured. I find my DH does anything, I’m like “BE CAREFUL OF YOUR BALLS!” hahah…he plays hockey and he’s gotten a stick to his testicle before and it’s scared the crap out of me.

Basia - I can understand how you’re feeling. WIth your losses I’m sure it’s difficult to fully “embrace” this process and trust that the outcome this time will be different. I’ve never experienced a pregnancy loss but I have to say I don’t “love” this baby yet. Maybe it’s because it’s not really a “baby” to me yet? I see what it looks like and it still looks fairly alien-like? I actually read your previous post about loving your baby (I think it may have been about your ultrasound) and I had a little freak-out moment to myself and my DH. I said “I don’t love this baby yet”, is there something wrong with me?? My mom assured me that it was normal not to feel “love” at this stage. I asked my gf yesterday who is about to give birth anyday when she felt “love” and she said “I’m hoping I will when the baby is born” hahah, that made me laugh. But really, I think it’s an indiviudual thing. I think every woman bonds differently during pregnancy and how you’re feeling, past experiences, etc. can all play a part. I also know (from literature) that women who find out the sex of their baby do feel a stronger attachment. You’ll make the right decision re: Harmony. xo

@Basia - girl - i think probably a good amount is self protection. I'm sitting here on pregnancy number 4 and I'm pretty negative - depends on the day. I want to be hopeful, but it's so hard. Pregnancy after loss is so incredible hard. I just don't know if it will happen for us. UGH.

Hi While! How are you feeling?? When do you have your next appointment?

My beta is scheduled for next Friday, but I know I'll cave and POAS this weekend at some point. Those that have the will power to not test and to hold off until beta are stronger than I am! I think LS is one of them on our board that waited! I'm just way too impatient :)

Shan: Great numbers mama!! Can't wait to see how much they increased by Friday!

Basia: I think your feelings are totally normal. It is hard to put the past behind us and believe that things are finally working! Keep the faith!! When is your next US?

Sorry to those I'm not responding to, doing it on my phone is so much harder... I typically use an iPad so I can open 2 windows and go back and forth. The brown spotting has pretty much stopped. Still there a tiny bit if I check my cervix and I'm still having light cramps. I will take another First Response Rapid Response tomorrow morning which will be 11dp3dt. It's the last test I have on vacation but I'm sure I can buy more depending on the results. If it's positive, we will share the news with my parents, my sister and her husband. They know we did IVF and are pretty much as anxious for the results as we are. Thank you for all the love and support ladies xoxo

Hello! I'm sorry I don't have much time to respond to everyone, but I had to tell you I was able to have my IUI today. Yay! Dh sperm count was over 14 mill and considering we barely got anything for the specimen drop off we were shocked! Doctor was happy and I am thrilled! Bbt dropped low this morning and I've been cramping all day. Doctor said it wasn't any surprise considering I had 4 follicles ready. I'm being hopeful!
