Metallic taste @ 8 dpo

I felt very bloated, gassy and nauseous tonight, so took a few Tums. An hour later, I now have a very strange, metallic taste in the very back of my mouth. Anyone ever experience this?

I'm 8 dpo and also have slightly tender breasts, but that is typical for me at this point in the 2ww ( prior to af).

Hi there. A metallic taste in the mouth is apparently one of the possible side effects of having tums. Lots of people report getting it.

At 8 dpo you probably haven't implanted yet if you are going to get pregnant this cycle. any symptoms like you have described are more likely from the increase of progesterone at this point in your cycle.

Thanks. I did some research after I posted and read about the Tums side effects. I just hadn't ever noticed that any of the other times I've had Tums. Ah, well...
