9 dpo with a faint BFP!

Today I bought an Equate 5 days sooner test and took it. A very faint line appeared, saying positive. I'm wondering if it's actually positive. I've read online that any trace of a line is a BFP, no matter what. Is that right?
fingers crossed!!!

i hope it is a bfp. i have heard if it is red dye test its better because it is less of a chance for the line to be from evaporation. i had a really faint thin line on an ept test as well as a cvs brand test. also had some with no line at all. I have been on a testing spree today. my test were the blue dye test so iam not going to get my hopes up until i start seeing something a little more. I am going to wait until monday to test

I hope it is too! I bought a pack of two tests, so I'm kinda trying to decide if I want to take the other tomorrow morning so the hcg levels are higher, or just wait a few more days altogether?
I didn't want to use the tests I bought because of the blue dye, but they were a lot cheaper lol. I read that if it were an evap line it would be grey or kinda like an indent, and my line is blue. it's so weird.
hope you get your bfp too!
