Friday afternoon I ended up going to the hospital because i was in so much pain, and the nurse practitioner on duty thinks I might have pcos due to my irregular periods and some other symptoms. So she is going to contact my family doctor and let him know that she thinks I should have more testing done. He seems to think that I'm fine, which clearly I'm not. I haven't had a period since May. So this week I'm going to make an appointment to get an ultrasound and hopefully get my referral for an OB. My bf thinks that we should wait and find out whats going on with me before we ttc, so ttc is on hold right now. Which really sucks, but I need to be healthy if I want to have a baby.

6dpo and nothing to report except i got my app tomorrow at 9:30 am im in the boring phase right now, kinda feeling crampy with backache and swollen boobs but those are my usual pms symptoms, so fertility drugs here i come.

things are at that horrible stage for me where i still have a glimmer of hope because:
- no AF
- increased creamy CM
- queasiness
- boobs are not sore (they get very sore in the run up to AF)

BUT still no BFP, which could be explained by:
- AF delayed due to IVF nasal spray (was warned about this)
- only 11 days pIUI so could be too early
- queasiness could be due to IVF spray
- all other possible symptoms could be in my head!

bought a box of FRER today incase the IC that i have been using are a bad lot (looking for any excuse!) and i had the most weirdest dream that i used an FRER and got a positive result!

so holding out on thinking anything until tomorrow when i get a blood test which will tell me for sure either way so i can move on to the next phase, but am leaning towards a BFN as that is what i am used to seeing.

AFM - My uncle is apparently in the hospital... had some kind of accident while on a road trip with his family & the trailer crushed his chest or something (havent been able to get a ton of details out of my cousin... hopefully I'll be able to talk to my aunt today) but he is currently in intensive care... so hoping he's doing alright & makes a full recovery!

Wow, this thread is so slow! I guess the heat of summer has had its effect on everyone! I like to think there are just less of us ttc-ers and more bfp-ers headed to the other pregnancy website!

Well to update everyone I had my hsg in June with good news that my one tube is clear. Nurse mentioned a lot of success that couples have the first 2-3 months after an hsg so . So far no luck last month came right on time.

This month and probably the next few months we are relaxing and not stressing about it. I'm not using any opks and really trying not to even think about it! Letting nature take its course and hopefully she will bring us a baby! If not December will be one year of ttc so we can see a specialist. With the ectopic it only took us about 4 months of trying but now with only 1 tube I'm trying to be realistic that it will probably take longer (it has been 4 months now of ttx since the ectopic).

I know that is nothing compared to the waits I have seen many women have on here, so I'm sorry if that upsets anyone. This is a great forum for us all to vent our frustrations and they're all going to be different.

Jacksonwest - I had my HSG a week ago so like you I am hoping to get a BFP in the next 3 cycles haha :) I am also enjoying a more relaxed cycle this time around with no tracking or OPKs and just having sex when we feel like it.

Joy - I hope your Uncle makes a speedy recovery!

Hey guys, leaves have started falling off the Trees here in North East UK and it's colder... oh no Autumn is on the way already! eeek where did 2012 go? lol

so back from f.s. and it ain't good news!!! he still suggest ivf which i can't afford, then said maybe iui. the HUGE issue is he wants us to go for fertility councelling in vancouver 2 hrs away and if you really think dh is gonna go for that keep on dreaming. i guess having a child will not be in the cards for me. it has been 2 and half yrs of all of this and only if dh was more on board could we continue. i know alot of you will say just talk to dh but this will be an easy out for him as all he has to do is say no, which he will. i wish my life could have turned out differnt but it hasn't and i just have to move on and keep living, im sure in a few months this will be easier to deal with but at this moment i feel my world has crashed down on me. i think i will go to my doctor and get some anti depressants to help me through all of this. i will still check here every once in a while as im excited to see joy have her precious bundle in dec. good luck everyone who is trying, but im gonna be signing off on this journey. it has been a very hard long journey and by no means am i religious but at this moment i have to believe that god has a better plan for me in life i just wish i could see it through all the tears and heartache right now but i just can't.

I love you all and couldn't have come this far without all of you and even though we will never meet know that you guys are the dearest to my heart and i hold a special place for all of you right up where my family is...

Aroma, I am so sorry to hear that you didn't get good news. TTC is a long horrible journey and I always hoped you'd get your miracle BFP. I know no words can make you feel better right now but I hope you find some sort of a silver lining to this rain cloud.

Elle, Leaves falling already? Sheesh! It's still hot as hell here in NY. I am actually kinda getting sick of it! LOL I hope you HCG gives you a boost and you get your BFP soon!

jacksonwest, I hope your HSG gives you a boost as well! DH and I had a TTC vacation the cycle before we started out injectible iui cycle. It was so relaxing! It didn't end in a BFP but the following iui cycle did! Maybe relaxing the month before made the meds work better or something? Who knows!

Joy, so sorry to hear about your Uncle! I hope he recovers quickly!

krunchie, I had almost no symptoms before my AF other than the absence of symptoms! I had a bit more CM and my bb's didn't hurt, which they are normally killing me the week before AF shows. I hope your non-signs mean a positive is in the future!

Jupitor, I agree, getting yourself healthy is the best way to start TTC. I am kicking myself for not loosing weight before getting my bfp. But so far I haven't been wanting to eat at all so maybe I will loose weight.

AFM, not much going on here. Tomorrow is my first u/s and more blood work. Hopefully they can tell me how many LO's are growing in there! After almost three years TTC I am kinda rooting for more than one! But I will be happy with one too. DH and I went up to our friends camp for the weekend and it was nice to get away from home. We enjoyed the lake by swimming and kayaking. We recently bought a canoe and now we are thinking we made the wrong decision and want kayaks! Well, gotta go clean the icky pool again!

Thanks for all the well wishes about my uncle! Still havent heard anymore... feel so bad for them, the have lost 2 dogs within a month and now this! Good grief!

Bumble - I apologise... I do know your name is Alicia, but I have gotten so used to calling you bumble I cant seem to break the habbit! lol! So glad your trip went well! Cant wait for your u/s to find out how many little ones you've got bouncing around in your belly!!

Kristine - Oh sweetie, I am so sorry I was really hoping you would finally have a little luck come your way. I know how stubborn your dh has been about not wanting another baby so I wont bother to try and say to talk to him as I am sure he will see this as an easy out. I know how heartbroken you must be, I am so sorry. You are an amazing person & I am so happy to have met you on here! I will always be hoping for you to get a surprise miracle baby... AFM - Trying to get some cleaning and laundry done before dh gets home at the end of the week... trying to spread it out over the week as opposed to cramming it all in between 11pm and 3am on Thursday night!
