Is it possible to miss your LH surge while you are asleep ? I had an almost positive @ 7pm on CD 11 and by 8am on CD 12 it was much lighter......

Yes! It's absolutely possible. Whilst most people tend to surge during the day, it's possible to surge at any time. I caught my first ever positive OPK at 2.30am (got up randomly to use bathroom, POAS just for fun(!), and there it was!) so have concluded that I must have been surging during the night - both the day before and after I had negative OPKs.

By the way, if you're unsure, charting your BBT in addition to using OPKs would confirm your ovulation date for you :)

Lol! I poas for fun too. Yes, I think it's possible too. Some people have a surge of 12 hrs or less. That is why some people need to test twice daily.

Thanks ladies ! Im pretty sure that is what is happeneing. I had EWCM and ovulation cramps like always. I think that liitle sucker snuck in while I was asleep. Good thing we BD'd before and after. :-)
