March IUI 2014

I just wanted to start another board on March IUIs.
My first one in February failed and here's to hoping that this second one will be the charm. Can't wait to see some BFPs and some Thanksgiving babies!! If I conceive this cycle my EDD is Nov. 26th.
I'm CD2...

TXkadams, you did sneak that IUI in there. Congrats on being PUPO! Sounds like you have great numbers going in, fingers crossed!!

Texasgirl13, I find the better the timing, the less painful the IUIs are. I have a severely twisted and retroverted uterus, so my cervix is also crazy twisted - but when it's open and ready on its own, the IUI itself is nearly painless.

lvlolo24, the study I did was called PURSUE, it's over now. There is currently a study going on for women age 35-42 called AFOLIA (here's a link: http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT01687712). I'm sure there are more - check out that site http://clinicaltrials.gov and you can search on IVF -- or IUI (they have IUI studies, too!).

Y'all have been busy today!

TXkadams: good luck on the iui.

Texas girl: do you remember the rules to the heating pad and legs in air? I can't remember what month that happened in. Feb? It worked on one of the girls.

So, took a test this morning. There's a very thin, very light vertical line - it doesn't really show up at all in the photograph. My husband says I'm crazy and there's nothing there. He's probably right. Except there really is a line, but maybe it's a defective test or an evap. http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test-gallery/image.php?galleryid=242482

I'm going to try to find a FRER - I went to two stores last night and all I could find was a digital and a cheap blue line test. There seems to have been a run on pregnancy tests in this town!

I don't know how I'm going to get through work today, I just want to go pee on stuff!

I've been googling, though, and it seems like this could be an evap, although it appeared within the time limit. So I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

I keep looking at the photo, wishing it was better resolution. This is a teeny bit better than what countdowntopregnancy did to the picture: User Image

Skip the guess do a blood test?

My RE probably wouldn't let me do a blood test until Tuesday - they won't do them for patients until 18dpo. Assuming they'll do one for me since I'm no longer a patient. My gyno would probably make me wait until 10 weeks. If I get a true positive, I guess I'll start making calls!
