Sorry for all the posts - I just have one question for all the lucky ladies that have recently got their BFP's...

Did you cum before your DH or no? Some people say that helps the sperm get to where they need to go and some sites say you shouldn't first - do you think it matters?

GB: Well, maybe you should ask your DH if it will bother him if you temp every morning, and explain it will help you understand your body and cycles better. I don't see why that would cause him any stress.
As for other people asking, that I understand why it causes stress, you don't have to be private for that to bother you.
As for SA, he can do the sample at home as long as he delivers it within 30 minutes to the lab, the tests themselves, unless you have a secret lab you can't do at home.
As for the Clearblue, rebecca used that. From what I understand flashing means you are approaching ovulation, solid means you have LH surge. But if your ovulation is all of a sudden delayed this may mess up the results. That is why I like the little cheap tests instead of the digital, the digital ones have too many errors. But they work for some people, I hope you are one of the ones that it will work for. !
As for your last question, you can always cum a second time after DH, that is why we are women right?

Kotikd~ thank you. I must say your attention to detail is amazing! I could never do that!
Gb1020~ if it helps any, I almost always go before my husband, lol! He has a delay problem, not Ed but another complicated thing, but it just works for us that way. From what I've read it sure doesn't seen to matter either way.

Wow this is a long thread! I am also on the Oct. baby train at 1-2DPO. I have not temp tracked, but I do get cramps. Cramped Saturday and Sunday, which would have been cycle day 15ish, the time I should be ovulating. We did the BD wed-fri and sun to be sure. I'm not sure I want to temp track or do an OPK just yet, I'm afraid I'll become stressed and obsessive lol.

On that note, do you get ovulation cramps before, during, or after ovulation? Or a combination?

Thanks gals!

Welcome Nicole - I think when I get my light cramping it is the day I ovulate, because it is usually always the day after I get my + opk test.

Koti - I think I will just tell him I'm going to start if this cycle is a bust. I think it's probably more in my head that he would get stressed then if he really would, lol. I think I'm just making myself crazy during this whole process!

nicole: Welcome and .
No one, even not doctors and fertility specialists can tell you when exactly you ovulate without tracking you with an ultrasound or other means right when you ovulate. You can have the cramps before or after, same with the LH surge, you can have it right when you ovulate or 36 hours prior to ovulation, all you can do is estimate and if you temp you can confirm ovulation by an increase in temps.
!

GB: It is so easy to get into the whole stress of TTC and make yourself crazy way before you should even be thinking about it, I should know .
The only advice I have, do acupuncture and take really good care of yourself to reduce stress and remain overall positive.

AFM: I am considering taking a break from the forums, so if I disapear, sorry. You can always send me a message and I would love to answer.

congrats to the new BFP's!!
so many questions out there, can't quite remember who asked what:
so far it looks like i ovulate the day i get my LH surge, per my temps. seems like the cramps line up with when i'm ovulating.
i don't think timing of orgasm matters at all, since many women conceive without EVER having one (those poor ladies!)
when it comes to using preseed i use it like normal lube, just slap on how much i want ;) the whole applicator kinda freaks me out and that's waaaay too much they want me to stick in there!

AFM, 15DPO! Haven't made it past 10 or 11DPO in... ever! so this is new for me to see what symptoms i have. unfortunately all my symptoms dropped off at 11DPO, i was so positive before then. I was going to stress myself silly, so i tested on 13DPO with FMU and got a BFN. So i completely think i'm out of the running. but i gotta take my own advice and it's not over til AF rears her ugly face. depending on what cycle length i go by, AF was due yesterday, or is due tomorrow. The doc's plan is my last progesterone supplement is tonight, and if there's no period by morning i'm supposed to take a HPT. i'm assuming it will be negative since i've had dull cramping the last few days with no other symptoms. then i call her to discuss using a low dose of clomid for my next cycle. so that will put me into november. is there a november board yet??? so bummed i didn't make october, but at least the disappointment came on slowly, and didn't hit me all at once.

Kot - Ok, you should be able to see my chart now. My temps are still confusing me. IDK what's going on.
Anyway, Mexico sounds wonderful. Glad to have you back and will be sad if you decide to take a break from the forums. I enjoy your input and value your opinion. On the other hand, I completely understand taking a break. I took a break from the forums for about 2 cycles and it helped clear my head a bit.

As for diagnosing Endometriosis, exploritory surgery is your best bet. They can do an ultrasound and identify cysts on your ovaries, but it's hard to pin point where else the Endo might be growing. It is a very minor procedure and you get to go home the same day. I had two small incisions done that left no scarring what-so-ever. One is in my belly button and the other is low on the left side of my abdomen, like by my ovary. Every now and then, in the right light, I can see a small mark where they went in. I had very light bleeding right after, like just enough for a panty liner. That lasted about 2 days. As far as discomfort goes, my abs hurt like I had done a bunch of crunches, which was from the doc having to expand my belly so he could get a good look to make sure he got all the Endo. I noticed an immediate relief with my first period after the procedure. I could actually function and wasn't stuck in bed for 2 days in complete agony. I'd say it was the best decision I had ever made to go through with the surgery.

Firsttime: I have my fingers crossed for you for tomorrow's HPT!

fiverson: I looked at your chart, it is a good looking chart. I'm assuming you did not use OPK?
I would say you ovulated around CD18-19 after which temps went up and stayed up. I would say CD16 temp was just an odd one, if you discard it it your chart will be clearer to analyze. Try to discard it and see.
In any case you are at least 7DPO and soon you will know .
I noticed that my mood gets worst and I get more stressed from the forum, I like many posts and ladies here but some posts just ruin it all and I don't know if I can take it...
I would love to keep in touch with many of the ladies here, but don't want to impose, so if anyone is interested just message me .
Thank you for the info, I think I'll tell my sis to think about it. As for me I normally have one bad day and with enough pemprin I can take it...
I have a fertility specialist appointment in May, if he suggests it I might think about it. Until then, I think we'll just keep trying.

Koti - I hope I haven't been one of those people that have made you want to leave! If you do, I wish you the best in your TTC journey. Baby dust your way!
