Hello fellow october hopefuls!
I just figured out this month that my ovulation has been WAY later than I assumed. We'd been trying on and off since May. I started temping this month but I believe they're all wacky because I wake up a lot at night(around 3-4am) and get up at 5-6. BUT OPK's were bright on thurs/friday. Pretty sure I O'd saturday or sunday. We BD'd almost every day until sunday so hopefully things go well! But I think that puts me right at 3/4 DPO.
My DS is a late October birthday and our DD would be Oct 12th. That's right around where my son's was but he was a little over 2 weeks late.
Fingers crossed and baby dust to all! Congrats to the ladies that have gotten October Positives!!!

I'm a crazy person and have already tested, just in case it was earlier. BFN's. I bought 5 OPK's and 5 PTs from the dollar store, the girl behind the counter asked if I worked at a doctors office... Kinda embarrassing :) But I said "No, we've just been trying a long time" and she looked shocked. I look pretty young I guess so it was just a weird feeling situation for all.

Anyhow, I just wanted to say all these entries have def helped me make it through today :) I love all the support, it's much harder to find in real life unfortunately.

sydnergy - to avoid all those crazy looks I buy my OPK and pregnancy tests online on ebay - they are not crazy expensive and I don't have to deal with the "why do you need 20 OPKs" questions/looks :)

Well CD 2 for me. Cycle 34. My thyroid is normal but I worry it will go put of wack again. IUI not an option until July...super heavy sigh.

Glad to see all the bfps as the last several months seemed very quiet.

Got my first bfp! Yesterday I took a test but I thought something was wrong with it bc It never showed anything even after like 10 min. So i threw it back in the box and shoved it in the drawer. Decided to try again this morning and the one from yesterday showed a +!! I had to take 4 more to finally decide it was right!

AFM: Hi Ladies, back from my way too short vacation . So much to catch up on its crazy, I will do my best, but if I missed anyone I'm sorry.
I think this is CD10, didn't update my charts yet, obviously a last cycle. Going to stick to seed cycling and the few supplements I am taking, continue with acupuncture and working out almost every day.
I am now a little conflicted, my parents announced that if I don't get a in the next 3 months we're going a family vacation for my 30th birthday in October, so I now don't know how fast I want a , hopefully this will make me take this whole thing a little easier in the next few months. but we all know how those intentions turn out... with crazy TWW every cycle...
Anyways, glad to be back!

BC messes up hormones, and many ladies don't even get for a long time when they stop so the fact that you got a short is better than no . You will have to give it a few months to regulate, but make sure you as much as possible because for many ladies when they go of BC they become very fertile and get a very very fast.

As for when to to be safe and make sure you don't miss it, I would recommend to every other day from CD10 to CD20. If you get a +OPK you can everyday, however, if DH's sperm needs more time to renew every other day can be better.
You should confirm ovulation by temping. This will give you insight into many things about your body and cycle and can tell you if you are ing in the right time and if your LP is really 14-15 days.
There are many things people do to increase chances like supplements, preseed, acupuncture, etc.
Also, according to stats it takes 9-12 months on average to get a .

EmmaLucy: ! It does take a few months to get the hang of temping as not all months are the same. Stay with it !
It is important to confirm you have high temps for 5 days in a row to make sure they signal post ovulation and not a virus or other things that come and go. Also, you can count the days with high temp before your temp drop to know the length of your LP.

floz: So glad you found a place! ! A friend of mine is 7 months pregnant and is moving in 1 month to a new house...

Basia: For a few cycles I also had spotting from about 7DPO, I think it is low progesterone, maybe you should have that checked?
My temps drop the day before or day of it varies. I can spot for 8 days before actual with high temps. Thats not .

fiverson: I haven't read about fallback rise, but it happened to me before... Makes BBT charting pretty hard... Sorry I don't have more info. for you. Please shre if you find something.

I am going to see my DR in two weeks to talk to her and hopefully get some tests done.
If AF shows up when expected that would be time when I should be ovulating so hopefully she can run some tests and I can know what is going on :)

As for Endometriosis it is very common to run in families. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the article, but it could be the cause as to why you haven't conceived yet. I hope you can get some answers.

AFM - CTP hasn't detected O for me yet. I had a weird temp drop then spike then drop again. So I could be 5 dpo or 7 dpo. FF detected O on CD 17, so that's why I don't know what DPO I am. Someone want to take a look at my chart and let me know what you think...?
I've been extremly tired, my boobs have started to hurt and today I had some pinching way down low. I'm trying not to symptom spot....but we all know how that goes.
