Febbaby,,how did you find out you had fibroids ?? what symptoms did you have? af arrived full on yesterday ,,huge massive clots,,and had 11 days of spotting before period,,around when i ovulate and when af due it hurts my right side when i need to do a poo,,,tmi i know,,sorry lol x

AF arrived this morning for me as well :( Another 6 week cycle.....Have any of you ladies heard of using Soy Isoflavones? I hear some people use them to regulate their periods....I really hate waiting for another month to ovulate.....

@matben: my doctor checks everyone for them. routine checkup and they found it in 2008, it kept growing so it had to go

lol,,thought so! im in uk,,cornwall.
well ,,after over 10 days of spotting my period arrived monday as expected but was very short (2.5 days instead of 5/6) and very heavy,,so bad i nearly fainted several times,,i felt awfull but got some tonic from the chemist which helped perk me up. the period stopped abruptly and now im back to spotting with mild right side pain!! arghhh! getting very worried about what ever is causing all this,,something is not right at all,,,seeing doc on thursday,,but if this pain continues or gets worse i willl see him earlier,,,my plan for this month,,find out whats going on!

urghhh,,,pain got(is still getting) massivly worse,,spent the eavening in hopital last night waiting to be examined,,they sent me home with very strong painkillers and i have to go back in tomorrow for an emergency scan,,suspected ovarian cyst,,

OMG !!!!!! matben, I hope ur feelling better today. How did the scan go, did they find anything? I hope and pray it's nothing that needs surgery. Keep me posted and feel better hun!!!

they couldnt find anything,,frustrating but at least i know all my baby making kit is working,,they have given me antibiotics and told to go home :-( they also said to go back to gp for further referals to other specialists,,urghhh so im back home feeling very sore and very groggy from the strong painkillers,,,
