How is breast tenderness different during Early Pregnancy?

I usually get very sore breasts 1-3 days after my O if it's PMS. They become huge (grow about 1 inch and can't even be touched).

This time I had that experience from 3dpo to 6dpo. Then they were fine for a day and now they're sore again, but it's different. The tenderness is really deep, almost like it's in the muscles underneath rather than the breasts.

Thoughts?
