Pregnancy test fell in water...

I took one of the dollar store tests this morning and it looked negative to me. When I went to wash the cup out I accidentally bumped the test into water. It came up positive.

My lmp was Nov 22. I would be about 9 weeks or so.

I'm so confused. Is it negative or positive? Would water make it positive even if it wasn't?

I would say positive. I doubt the water would have had any HCG in.

Perhaps buy another to be sure BUT I think congratulations may be in order !!

I was thinking maybe it acted like the hook effect?

I'd say you're + like she ^ said water wouldn't show HCG but buy another test.
