Did I ovulate this month? I am using both opk and bbt to pinpoint ovulation day. Please help me !!
Last month I used both opk and bbt, was able to say day 10 I got my positive opk and day 11 morning my temp rised and kept constantly Hugh until AF arrived. This month I tried using them but on day 9 temperature rised from 97.49 to 98.24 with negative opk. Day 10 it was 98.18 but negative opk. Day 11 temperature dropped to 97.28 but got positive opk in the noon. Today is Day 12 it's 97.46 (I do not see much shift in temperature like previous month!!). I am confused. Please can anyone tell me what's happening here??

In my experience, temperatures do not always rise the day following ovulation. Sometimes progesterone needs some extra time to build up to raise temperatures. Despite a positive OPK you can fail to ovulate. Keep watching your temperatures the next few days. If they don't go up you probably did not ovulate. If they do, you did ovulate. Your first rise of temps before your pos. OPK can be a result of various circumstances, for example waking up earlier, etc. I had weird spikes before ovulation this month because I had a cold ( no fever), but this alone made my temperature chart look rather erratic. I hope this helps. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

With a pos OPK on day 11, you probably ovulated on day 12. Everyone and every cycle is unique and different; it is even possible you ovulated late in the day on day 11. It all depends on how early you "caught" the LH surge with your OPK. Keep taking your temperatures to 100% confirm you ovulated. Best wishes.
