I'm in the same situation had my Mirena after 5 years removed in June 2013 and just hoping when I test tomorrow I get a BFP. Been experiencing a list full of symptoms. OBGYN told me chances of getting pregnant would be higher than normal.

Hi I am the perfect story for you. When I was 30 I decided to stop the depo after being on it for 7yrs .Anyway they say it takes approx. 6mths for it to be completely out of your system. It took me exactly that 6mths. The first mth I got a proper period I fell pregnant that cycle.
So as soon as you have regular periods it is out of your system. I am now TTC 7mths #2 and struggling after no birth control, for yrs but I am now 37yrs seeing specialist and may be put on clomid waiting to see. Good luck hope this gives you hope. x

Don't know why that other woman was comparing Mirena to depo, they are not even similar you don't get a period ever with depo.

@ aleshaailsa Thanks for that, and I may say it does bring hope!!!:) and yeah my period just barely getting ormal after a yr and a half of be off of depo, I always had my periods when I was on depo but once I got off they became irregular,I just got back on track in June so I hoping since it became regular that it'll be easier now today Aug.12 I am two days late for my period and so far I had early symptoms so hopefully when I get a hpt I get a positive fingers are crossed once again thanks for the comment

If your not pregnant after 1 year ttc can go see your gp for some blood tests and scans.

I'm on 10 months ttc after only being on depo 24weeks, ive got extremely irregular cycles (after being pregnant 3 times within 8 weeks i am worried)

Got my first hospital appt on tuesday. good luck.
