While-I agree with the other ladies, you will be fine. hopefully I lucky egg will get fertilized. I am testing on Sunday. that was the RE's target date and I'm going to try to stick to it. Especially since I believe I ovulated the day after IUI so im thinking I may be out so I don't even want to waste a test or see a BFN. So the 22nd it is

Hey girls...
I have been reading your posts but I had no time to respond this weekend. Hopefully your V-day was a lot of fun :)
Those in 2ww - good luck :)

I am just patiently waiting ... 3 pills out of 17 (birth control) down... it is going to be a long wait till March

One thing that is keeping me busy is work... it is tax season and I work for an accounting firm so the next 2 months will be just crazy - hopefully the time will go by very fast. Scheduling all the bloodwork/ultrasounds when I work 65+ hours will be a bit difficult but I can manage - I think :)

I will just have to get sick 2 times in March ;) One time for egg retrieval and one time for embryo transfer.

Girls... for those who had IVF - did you take a day off when you had embryo transfer to rest the whole day? or did you go back to work and resume your normal activities?

@kethreys and @TTC30's - thank you both!

Wow the 22nd is a big day! So that is this Sunday - still a week away, bummer! (-:

@Basia - man what a bummer with the birth control - crazy work should help it hurry up though! Maybe you can take that time and try to get your mind off of fertility stuff for a while.

We got snow last night and so a lot of places are closed today (schools, etc). So that's exciting. (-:

basia after embryo transfer I restricted getting up for the rest of the day and even the day after i limited how often i got up, i havae a job with a lot of lifting and moving and bending and such so i also called off work or got PTO afterwards for that i had a good 3 days of taking it easy. there seem to be conflicting studies about whether this works or not I had one failed cycle and one that resulted in pregnancy, but that was ectopic do maybe i didn't move enough. who knows. do what feels right to you.

ttc since August 2012 diagnosed with PCOS January 2013 failed IVF with 2 embryos May 2014 FET with 3 embryos August 2014, Successful!! confirmed ectopic on 9/24/14 taking a break from ttc and pursuing adoption homestudy ready 1/8/15, waiting for the call that will make us a family!

Basia, a friend of mine that recently had ivf, after the transfer she was for 1 week on bed. She was doing only the basics like going to the toilet. The next week she was permitted to do more things but not going at work. Ask your doctor, will you be given a leave from work for medical reasons? I suggest you stay at home for at least a couple of weeks! My friend stayed 1 month out of work.

Well Dr.s appointment is over! We are going to let them mature for one more day then trigger tomorrow and IUI Thursday! Wash at 9:30 then IUI at 10:30.. Eeeeekkkkk I finally feel like we are moving forward. :-)
Left Ovary has 1 at 17.1 and 9.1
Right Ovary has 1 at 19.2 and 1 at 12.3
I was hoping for three but am pleased with two. We are leaving next Wednesday to go to Colorado for DHs birthday, it will be 6DPIUI so I will probably not be skiing. Him and the kiddo can have at it :-)

@While, how are you feeling? Wish it snowed here.

@Basia, hopefully with work being crazy this time will fly by. Lol @ Getting sick. I would take the day off. Take light walks, they say keep blood flowing but not in a go work out kinda way.

Basia30, after transfers, I spent the rest of those days mostly on the sofa (well, we always went out to lunch first, and then home), but went back to work the next day. And it worked for me 2 out of 3 times.

Just FYI, depending on how many eggs you have retrieved, you will probably feel worse the day after retrieval - so you'll probably want to take that day off -- plus you'll want to be near the phone to get you fertilization report. After transfer, of course, you'll feel just fine.

Basia- My RE is giving me a full month off of work. After the transfer they said they wanted me off of work until the pregnancy test to relax and not stress.

browni - wow... that is a lot of time off which I would not want to take off. I would be sitting home and stressing instead of relaxing.
