Viable pregnancy?

Saturday I found out I was pregnant. About 3 hours after I started bleeding. I went to the hospital and they suspected I was having a miscarriage. I was devestated.
Today I went back for blood work to see if my hcg was going down. Instead it went up a tiny bit. They said it could be a viable pregnancy or an ectopic pregnancy. I have to wait a week and see if it goes up again.

Has anyone ever had this happen? Did anyone have a healthy pregnancy after this?
