Chaf - oh no... so sorry about getting sick on the glucose test... awful..
Keth - I hear you about being worried. I delivered DD very early due to preeclampsia. So I am trying to keep my anxiety level down as I progress through my pregnancy.
I recently started coloring (adult coloring books) and it actually really relaxes me and help me take my mind off things... apparently it is all the rage right now.. LOL. But there is some merit to it... maybe that can help you...
Shan - how was your U/S?
Glad to hear everyone is doing well....

Bens~my ultrasd was great :) his little face actually looked more like a baby instead of a skeleton:)) but they couldn't get a good pic :/ but Thts ok!
My glucose test is in 4 weeks so I'll b 26 wks then. Not really looking forward to that appt lol!
Ugh is anyone else congested and can't get over it?! I'm so tired of coughing and not being able to breathe! I've been taking meds and I still can't get past it :/

shan, aI am sorry for the congestion you feel! Is it a flu? I hope it goes away quickly!
babypath, I guess I can scan it??? I will try to post them! They remind me of small birds!
Bens, thanks for the advise. Colouring seems relaxing. I have to start thinking that every ultrasound is a chance of seeing my babies (I see a lot of people saying that they are are waiting the u/s with excitement as they are going to see the baby). Up to this moment I cant be excited with the exams as I am scared not to hear bad news. I have to change that.

Good morning ladies,
Kethryes - I'm looking forward to seeing a pic of your babies. I'm glad you have that special relationship with your aunt.
Shan - I'm glad the U/S went well for you. I hope you feel better soon. I know there's been a cold going around my area too but I've managed to avaoi it so far.
Babypath - How are you doing hun?
Bens - I started doing that too. between that and knitting I think I just need something to take my mind away from everything. Although I have to admit I think I like children's colouring books better than the adult ones. I just think they're more fun.
AFM - I was just wondering if you ladies had a hard time with the holidays? I tried to talk to my mom about my worries visiting with everyone because I'm often confused for my sister who has a baby. She means well but she just told me I'd have to get over it. I don't think she really understands how difficult this is for me going through this. I honestly thought I'd be pregnant by now and I keep thinking about the chemical I had in April and how I would be due around now had it turned out differently. I didn't realize that this month would feel like just as much of a rollercoaster even without actively TTC.
On a positive note I'm looking forward to getting my tattoo next week. It's been something I've been working on for a few months now. I think it's going to look amazing once it's done. A tribute to my journey so far.

Margie - I hated holidays and family gatherings, baby shower, bridal shower, weddings, etc. I just hated seeing people who would not really know me or family members that I was not close to and being asked "when are you having a baby?" Well my closest family did not know we were doing IUIs and IVFs and that we were even trying so they would bug us with that question as well.
I feel like this is the first holiday in the past few years that I might actually enjoy it.

Margie, I know how you feel. I WAS excited for the holidays but now I'm not and I feel bad for that. Like you, I tend to constantly think about how far along I would be at this date and at Christmas and so on. I had a friend ask me today how I was feeling and if I have had any sickness and such...she had no idea we had lost the babies. I had never announced it because it was too heartbreaking to discuss. I do hope you are able to overcome those feelings and enjoy everything! But I also know how difficult it can be and much easier said than done. Praying for you!! XOXOX

Wow, laides! SO many BFP! Congrats! And a set of twins, too! WOW!
@I<3kids when is your ultrasound?
Congrats to everyone, and congrats on Baby Lucy!
I am sorry for the BFNs. TTC is so hard. You ladies are so brave and courageous! Hoping we all get our babies soon!
AFM, I am doing well. 24w3d with baby girl Norah Grace. I had an appointment yesterday and I was measuring 28 weeks. My friend (who is an OB) did an ultrasound for my and it appears I have polyhydramnios (excess amniotic fluid) )-: I am getting re checked on Tuesday and we will go from there. sigh. Just want baby girl (and me) to be okay! Norah was measuring on track, so she's good.

Basia and Babypath, I'm sorry that the holidays are going to be hard. I hope you both feel like you can pull back as much as you need from the festivities. The year our child died we pulled back completely. It made it a little easier to bare.
WhileImWaiting, thanks for asking! Our ultrasound is on the 22nd... I am nervous and excited at the same time. I have a friend who had an excess of amniotic fluids during one of her pregnancies and the only major problem caused by that was that her body just didn't bounce back entirely, but her children and subsequent pregnancies have all been fine. :)
