Metformin and birth control pill

I've been diagnosed with PCOS since 2007. I recently met with another gynaecologist. He started me on provera 10mg for 10 days, then microgynon birth control pill and metformin 500 twice daily.

I'm on cycle day 12 and still have a spotting/ light flow with cramps today. I'm wondering if anyone has been put on this regimen and experienced bleeding for so long?

I really would appreciate any responses to help me understand what I'm dealing with.

MAYBE IT WILL TAKE A FEW MONTHS TO REGULATE! DONT LOOSE HOPE!

Thank you Michasmith,

It did regulate. Now I'm starting clomid 100mg tomorrow. Praying that it works and I get a BFP for Christmas.
