Doxycycline antibiotic

don't u think this is an odd choice for a fertility dr to prescribe???
im cd11 and even tho im probably gonna have/need the ivf in a couple months I still would like to try naturally to get pregnant.

Im taking Doxycycline antibiotics daily but have been getting heartburn lately.
Is it ok for me to take medicine for the heartburn at the same time as the doxy?
The active ingredients in the heartburn medicine are Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Carbonate.

I have no idea. I was getting really bad symptoms so I stop taking it after 2-3 days.
actually I do remember it saying not to lay down after taking the meds. is this when ur getting the heartburn? or just through out the day? I was getting bad nausea if I laid down.
