I Didn't Want a November Baby Anyways

Here we go ladies for another month together. We can do it!

December is where it's at for babies!

To start things off...

I'm 30 dh 28. Been trying for 7 months. Cd range 25-30 days. Hoping things get easier this month.

Question to start things off. Does anyone exercise regularly while TTC? I always feel like I'm scared to after mid cycle like it will cause things to not work out. Anyone been through this?

Wishing everyone a happy weekend.
Welcome

Hi ladies

I'm 33, OH is 36 and we are ttc #1. Started ttc last April and got a BFP but ended up in surgery for an ectopic pregnancy.

We've been ttc again since December (I had to wait 6 months due to having had open surgery). Cycles are usually 24-29 days and currently on CD11.

Welcome everyone that just joined in. Sorry the showed up for all of you!

Hopeloveandhugs - I know! 10 days! Haha. Last month was our first month on Clomid and I was determined to give it everything we had so we BD everyday for 13 days! It was not fun in hte end and was a bit stressful as well. I think this month we will try every other day until when I peak - and then everyday for a couple days. I am going to try to be a bit more laid back, but it is hard cause we want this so bad and I am on Clomid so how laid back can you really be if you are taking fertility drugs?

Today is CD6 for me and the first day my new CBFM asked for a pee stick. Was fun that this is all starting again this month but not fun to try to figure out what to do while holding my first morning pee!!! I almost burst! Haha.

How many other people are using the CBFM? Anyone else on Clomid?

Hey everyone...I'm Heather. I'm 31, hubby is 35. We've been TTC since April 2010. had a MC back in November - D&C early December. This was our first month trying again.

Mooelainie - I find it amazing you say you felt it trying to implant....I swear I did too. Cramps around 7-9 DPO then they were gone and yesterday the witch showed at 13 DPO. Maybe it was still a little too soon for that little bugger to get a good grip.

Oddly enough I'm not as depressed this cycle - I didn't think it would happen anyways. Odd thing was there were so many symptoms.

Oh well...Cycle Day 2 is halfway over!

Welcome to all on the thread.. BABY DUST to everyone. So i have a dilemma.. Since this is where i come to vent my frustrations on getting BFN's, i'm also seeking advice.
My DP and I have been ttc since Dec 2010 but month after month, no luck!! . so after my last cycle in Feb i went to the dr and she put me on BC to help with the cycles.. they ranged from 25-33 days before so she's hoping that i after i come off the BC i'll get a somewhat steady 28 day cycle.
Problem is I want the DP to get check for infertility. I've tried explaining to him how important it is to have a regular check up. not trying to point a finger at him, suggestively one night i asked "what if you can't make any kids?" He answered genuinely that it was just going to be a matter of time, but i just want him to make sure that his "swimmers" are adequate. I know he was bothered by the comment and i did apologize. He doesn't have a "healthy" lifestyle at all. I figured that by changing mines it would prompt him to do the same, but that hasn't happened as yet so it's frustrating. Any suggestions on how to approach that topic?

Blessings - that is a tough one. My hubby has been really supportive and got tested with no reservations (which I DIDN'T expect at all) but it was because it was the only way for us to move forward.

My Dr wanted to refer me to a specialist to look at fertility issues (I am now on Clomid), but she wouldn't send me until she did all the back ground checks for both of us. I had to get a ton of bloodwork done and an ultrasound and he had to have swimmers tested. She said after we did all that (and it came back fine) she would refer me.

So he was kind of forced into it as we were at a standstill till we did tests. Luckly for me, he was on board, but I wonder if that might be the approach with your hubby as well? Maybe your Dr will ask for him to get tested before she can prescibe any treatment for you - if the BC method doesn't work.

Blessings .... it took me 5 months of begging to get my husband to get tested .. and sorry to say he actually enjoyed it .. thought it was kind of kinky doing that .... sorry ! TMI
but really the only way i could get him to do it was to tell him the doctors thought it was all me and to tell him sorrry i couldnt give him a child and got really upset and so he did it to sorta prove that it could be him also ... and it was sorta ... slow boys
its a 50% chance its him ..or you
be patient ... but yes they won't let you go to a speciall fertility doctor without knowing if he is good

I am on my 4th Clomid month and going into my 2nd IUI this year did it years ago with no results
Anyone know if IUI's are a waste of money ???

i'm 35 so that is a factor

Hi everyone. I hope ya'll don't mind me chiming in here. I saw the question about exercising from Hopeloveandhugs and thought I'd throw my two cents in. I exercise at least five days a week with no exceptions. I asked my doc. if this was an issue and he said no as long as it didn't cause amenorrhea (lack of a period). He even said it was a good thing and I could keep it up throughout a pregnancy as long as I was doing it before I got preggo. I would go insane without my workouts since it is my number one stress reliever. Take from this what you will since, I too am still trying to conceive.

i know where your comming from with the fertility testing.dh has 3 kids from a previous marriage so of course nothiing is wrong with him. it was a huge up hill battle to get him to do the test. i tried talking calmly, sending him letters yelling screaming and crying to gey him to do this. its very hard if they are sooo stubborn, but he finally did it, his viscosity is not good meaning his sperm can't get through the other stuff to get to my egg and im waiting on another blood test for lh on day 21 cuz it looks like my progesterone levels are low. i also have to set up a hsg app. as soon as af arrives, which should be today or tomorrow. i told dh that his part is really simple to do and please stop complaing as look at what i have to do! i helped him with the test lol we were able to take the cup home and set up the app. it took me littlerly 5 min to get his sample and it was done. really not a whole lotta time out of a day if you think about it lol.

All the advise is extrememly helpful for me, for i was about to give up trying to talk to him about getting the testing done. The answers i got on here are way better than the plan i came up with (to withold BDing until he agreed) so we talked about it again last night and though he didn't agree to testing he didn't disagree either. Not sure if that's truly positive or not but fingers crossed.
