Negative hpt but I feel pregnant

My husband and I haven’t actively been trying to conceive however we would really like to have a child. Last month I was sure I was pregnant, got a verrrry faint line on a hpt then I had bleeding like my period. So I thought I guess I’m not pregnant but within the past week I’ve been extremely nauseous, craving drinks and food I never eat and having aversions to food I usually love, and I’ve been crying at the drop of a hat. None of this is normal for me except the crying during pms (I’m still 12 days away from my next expected period. Has anyone had an experience similar to this, could give me advise, could I be pregnant even tho tests are coming up negative?
