Still in shock

DH seems to be still in shock, he says he doesn't think it will hit him fully until we get to hear the heartbeat. Calling first thing tomorrow to schedule our appointment! I already feel like a soccer mom, cheering it on. Pulling and pinching? "Yes baby go, burrow into my uterus and make a placenta out of it, you can do it!"

We're waiting until mother's day to tell our families. DH had a friend who announced asap and then they miscarried, so he is wary of announcing it too soon. I am ready to shout it from the rooftops, but it is half his child and I'm going to respect his wishes on it.

I suspect our dog and cat know. I woke up this morning with the dog's head on my tummy and the car laying on my increasingly squishy boobs. The cat was quickly dislodged, because that sh*t hurt!
