HCG is 410 at exactly 4 weeks - nurse said that's too low?!?!
I am exactly 4 weeks pregnant today and went for bloodwork yesterday. I woke up this morning to very light brownish spotting and immediately called the hospital to ask for my betas. The nurse said my HCG was 410 and that number is considered low, so if I start bleeding red to come to the hospital ASAP.
Per charts I found on Google, 410 seems completely normal??

I don't know if that number is too low. I think it would be good to have another test taken. The numbers are supposed to double every other day I believe?
That you experience spotting concerns me . I had 6 miscarriages and mine tended to start with spotting. I hope things will turn around. The very best wishes.

410 is perfectly fine! It is well about the 50th percentile for four weeks pregnant! The actual number doesn't matter anyway, what is important is that it increases at a good rate. Spotting is never a good sign, but it is still common round this point in your pregnancy. My miscarriage also started with spotting but I spotted for weeks and even saw a baby and a heartbeat before the miscarriage.
My strongest advice is to try not to worry. That is much harder to do than say of course, but what I learned during my miscarriage was that if you are miscarrying there is absolutely nothing they can do about it anyway. I spent so many hours in hospital which was pointless and probably detrimental to me as it caused more stress. In the end once I knew I was miscarrying I just stayed home in comfort and prepared for it emotionally. I wish I had known what I know now earlier! You might be absolutely fine, so don't worry, but be prepared just in case. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst!!
